Kok Tobe

Amazing place to visit. We spent around 2-3 hours here. Clicked a lot of pictures. We visited during winters and it was all snow covered. It was really cold. The evwning view is even worth. It looks like winter wonderland. You can buy a lot of souvenirs here. Bargain with them as much as possible. Go only by cable car if you don’t want to walk. Don’t take the minivan at all. The cost of that minivan is not woth because you spent around 200 rupees for 600 metres of distance. Visit in the evening only because the city view looks amazing when all the lights are up..

The cable car ride is 5000 tenge per person. The ride takes about 5 minutes. The view is worth way more than 5000 tenge. It’s peaceful up the hill. You can walk around to enjoy a small zoo. The animals are only common and farm animals like goats, sheep, or lambs. There are different kinds of chicken and white peacocks. You can spend about an hour or so to walk around and take some pictures.

If offers an overview of the Almaty city with two restaurants and some souvenir shops. It has some entertainment amenities too such as Ferris wheel. The cable car ride is a good experience. Overall I have spent 1.5 hour here at day time. Cable car service is pricey with 5000kzt to & fro. Small shuttle bus service will cost you 1500 kzt up and down.

Was here this Dec 2023... Its cold winter. And still best to enjoy this season here. Not that far from the city, We'll maintain cable car system, great view on the top and also on the way up and down from the Kok Tobe. Cafes to enjoy, souvenirs shop, huge hall for any big group or special occasions to arrange, ferris-wheel to view spectacular view here.

It's a great place to visit the top view of almaty also come at sunrise or sunset if you really want to see good view. Hill station point cable car activity is available

Lots of activities for kids and a few for adults too. There's also a small zoo up there. Some cool coffee Shops and eateries.
Perfect place for a sunset view. You can either go up this hill by road or take a scenic cable car.

It's a good place to visit for a few hours in Almaty city. You get a great view of the city and there is such a beautiful statue of the Beatles. It's a fun place for kids as they have a lot of games. It was great to try out a few activities that I enjoyed like shooting, rock climbing and punching game.

Kok Tobe is a mountain is probably the highest peak in Almaty city. It has the TV tower and a recreation area for tourists as well as locals. The view from the mountain is beautiful. Whether you travel in taxi or bus, it has to stop at the gate. Need to take a shuttle bus, which to be paid extra. The same ticket can be used to return. It's a must visit place in Kazakhstan.

Kob Tob place is a hidden gem located at the top of a mountain in Kazakhstan Almaty. The journey there is an adventure in itself, with an electric cab ride and a scenic cable tram. Kok Tobe expwrience is one of the best in Almaty. The mountain is so closed to me that I can enjoy walking the snow. Amazing experience. So close the city.

It was all in one kind of place. With rides, gondola, souvenir shop, mini zoo, photo spots, cafes, lots of other activities.

Took cable car to the top. 5000 tenge for both side ride. Worth the money. View from the top in night is totally mesmerising.

Good place and one should do that roller coaster type ride there. That was fun!!!

One of the best place to see Almaty is Kok tobe, located on the hills of the mountains of Almaty Kazakhstan. You can either take a cable cart from Novotel going up hills and take a taxi, easy way is using Yandex to order a car. In Koktobe youll find different attractions an activities for young and old. Its well maintained place and clean.
