Its a huge park to stroll around. You can click good pictures here. You have options for coffee and sandwich also. Kids can be taken and during winters they have ice skating open for all outside the park. Quiet happening park. In winters its all snow covered. Also the mountains are visible from this park as it is outside the city center.

The park is quite big with a huge entrance. We visited in the first week of October and parts of the park was covered with yellow color leaves looking like a yellow Carpet. The trees give a glow when sunlight falls on them. There is only one shop for coffee and snacks which is not easily visible. Overall it's a wonderful place to walk around or sit and enjoy the colorful plants and trees.

First president park is the biggest park in Almaty. It is located almost in the centre of the city. You can take taxi or bus to go there. It is walkable distance from bus stop. The park is full of greenery and can find big water fountains. Many people come for jogging, photo shoots, yoga, reading, relaxing, etc. It is also an excellent park for all age groups. And they have maintained very neat and clean. I visited at autumn season. So it was very beautiful with different colors of leaves in the trees. Also we can see the snowy mountains from there in winter.

Loved it!! Despite being cloudy and then getting rained on, I enjoyed walking through the park with my parents. Wished the fountain was on, but with winter setting in wasn't possible.

Incredibly comfortable and beautiful recreational area and the park at the same time. Fresh clean lawns make it possible to relax on it during the hot time. Beautiful columns at the entrance amazingly fit and remind you of the ancient time.

When I came there weather was delightful. Sun was shining, little breathing. This place is very huge and beautiful!! The view on mountains from there are amazing! Small ice rink is too crowded due to the weekends. If you are going to have a rest and breathe fresh air, this park is great place to visit. On the territory several coffee shops, WC and a lot of benches. Highly recommended to see. it's a good place to spend time with family. There are dedicated lanes for bicycles, roller-skates.
