Harissa

I ordered a tabbouleh salad, hummus with mushrooms and falafel on a plate. The hummus was one of the best I've had. Same for the falafel. Amazing and delicious food. The lemonade was so good. Great service. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you like Middle-Eastern cuisine.

You can't be wrong if you choose to eat some middle east cuisine here. They have delicious humus that they make in their own recipe. Beef kofta is served with rice, humus, vegetables salad and portion of flat roti. And it was tasty.
Music plays a little louder than I prefer, and if you want to talk with someone you have to strain the vocal cords.

Simply a must visit in Almaty!

The first time we wanted to eat here we couldn’t find a table (it was at night in Ramadan so you know people reserve and the nights get more busy than usual) so we had delivery, it was so good in the delivery we said to ourselves we have to try in the restaurant! And let me tell you it was absolutely amazing! We went there every night for our 2 weeks in Almaty

The staff is incredible attentive, the place itself is beautiful, with the outside deck perfect for the good weather days to have a snack with a nice sunset 👌🏾
And the food, the food is simply beyond words! the dishes they have are just the perfect combination of flavors and textures, the size was good and they were simply so delicious 🤤 our favorite was the chicken fatat, as my partner said it was just the best one he has ever had outside his home country 🤌🏾 the hummus, the salads, the pita bread, the falafel, the fish, the other chicken dishes all of them good! Never disappointed us!! And the best of all…. the desserts and the coffee, truthful to the flavors and textures of the original recipe, the coffee with the cardamom and the foam were just perfect and the amount is what you want when you are looking for a coffee moment! and the desserts, from the amazing gluten free tahini brownie with ice cream with an incredible gooey texture, to the perfectly balanced Muhallebi were just an absolute delight.

And Tamaz the owner, was everything! So kind, always ready to help us in the restaurant and with recommendations for Almaty, made us feel just like family! He even surprised us for our last day in Almaty with our favorite dessert the baklava!

I walked past this place a few times and always wanted to come in because of the smell! Today I did and wow. I had the green veg omelette with cheese as well as falafel and hummus! All 5 star, great flavours and taste! Service was good too

I'm delighted to see a Middle Eastern restaurant in Almaty, especially that the food is good. They have endless hummus plus toppings combinations, and you also can put together one yourself. Chickpeas and vegetable salad is like a spin on a locally popular salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and creamy dressing but with the addition of chickpeas with spices. I liked that combination. Shawarma was great, both as a platter and wrapped in lavash. Nice juicy chunks of mutton and not the dried-out shaved meat you often get in shawarma. It was delicious. Plus, they serve additional sauces, spicy and not, so you can elevate flavors further. They also have a combo of little desserts, which was tasty as well. The menu is pretty big, so there are many more dishes to try.

Ohmygoodness.... AMAZING food! A friend told me that I could find a lot of good vegetarian dishes at Harissa...and she was absolutely right. Vegetarian and delicious! The hummus with roasted vegetables is out of this world! ❤ We have enjoyed everything that we have tried so far...and we keep coming back so that we can experience everything on the menu! Fresh and delicious!

Great Mediterranean food in Almaty.
Cauliflower with labne, hummus with root vegetables, hummus with eggplant, Iraqi salad are all very good.
Falafel pita and burgers are pretty good too.
The set meal is very filling and good variety.
Two appetizers are enough for a person.

Elegant, nice staff and tasty food

It is very different from what we usually eat. I can say that the food was of good quality and the prices were reasonable. There were many people there, so it's not unpopular, but you need to love middle eastern food to repeat the experience.
I will come back again to try some more items from the menu

If you like Lebanese food, then you should totally visit this cozy place located in the heart of Almaty. The menu is huge with yummy pictures that help you make the right choice - either hummus or falafel, kebab or shvarma. The waiters are very nice and polite, will help you with your stroller if you are visiting them with a kid. You can finish your meal with a nice dessert and strong coffee.

Food is pure gold! Chicken steak is awesome, I just cannot stop eating it. Highly recommend!

A normally priced restaurant with great dishes and service. It's also very close to the city center so you can easily access it. Go go go!

Best mid eastern restaurant, average wine selection. Good staff and wait time for food is low.
