Daehan Dawon Green Tea Farm

Nice plantation, worth a visit. Ice cream is great. Hot dog was not bad. Make sure you don't miss the bamboo trail too. Take comfortable shoes because there's a bit of a hike to the top view point.

Visiting this place was an absolute beautiful sight to see. And not to mention the green tea ice cream, so yummy!!!! I would recommend this place and visit it again. Visiting this place was so beautiful, peaceful and overall calming to my soul. I would want to go back to check out the bamboo side since I didn't find out about that side till after I left.

This is such a beautiful place. A must see when visiting Korea. There is a bamboo forest here as well. Absolutely stunning rain or shine.

The place is breathtaking. Especially when it’s foggy. Make sure you come exactly at Daehan Dawon plantation as there is another little one nearby. There is also little bamboo forest to the left from the main entrance, so it’s better to grab a map and explore everything that Daehan Dawon has to offer.

It was way bigger than I was expecting. It's just amazing!
The entrance fee is 4000 per person (adult).
I don't recommend coming in summer, as it might be too hot.

5 stars is really generous here, but I think most people would find this to be a little better than 4 stars. The views are nice, don't get me wrong, but this is not one of those places where "the pictures don't do it justice." The pictures you take will seem more beautiful than the sights you saw in person.

Still, the tickets are relatively affordable, and there are different paths to take, ranging from easy strolls along relatively flat ground, to 45 minute almost hikes up steep inclines on uneven and slick terrain. So you can modify this place to suit your physical needs. Plus the green tea ice cream at the end is a nice treat (I'd recommend the green tea affogato). Worth visiting, but not exactly a reason to come to Korea (or even Jeollanam-do) for

Spectacular sight. Not to miss if you are in south South Korea. You can walk up the hill and enjoy the view all the way to the ocean.

What an amazing place, and as typical for Korea, lots of photo spots 😁 You can admire the tea plantation, suggest to go in spring time to have the cherries blossom as well. Have been in early October, still beautiful.

You should climb all the way up to the top where you can see the sea away and enjoy cooling wind. Then pleasantly walk down through the woods,

The scenery was amazing. If you go up to the highest view point, you can see the sea. Also Icecream store is in there and it's the BEST icecream I had ever.

There’s something special about this tea plantation that made me felt in awe. Maybe because it’s just simply looks beautiful. Recommended to spend at least half of your day here to enjoy every spot and the food there.

The entrance was around 3000 won. The place feels touristic. The paths are nice and the view is really nice. I was looking forward to visiting these fields for a while, and the view did not disappoint. There is a possibility to eat something near the entrance way to the tea museum, but also in the tea fields itself. We tried the green tea ice cream, which was nice to try. However, I think I have to get used to the flavor. There is also a shop where you can buy all sorts of tea. This was in my opinion the nicest tea shop in the neighborhood. We walked towards the sea observatory and front there we walked down past the waterfall. The view from the top was nice. Near the waterfall there were a lot of mosquitos.The walk was a bit tough in the heat of mid August, but it was doable.
I think in may there are also some tea festival around the tea fields.

If you are ever in Korea, be sure to bisit this place. A good combination of hike and relaxation. Walking/hiking around the trails and the green tea plants will help you relax. A really good place for pictorials or just some picture taking. The green tea ice cream and latte are worth it. I would recommend buying food or drinks before the hike to appreciate the ambiance more.
