Animation Museum

What a gem~ My kids loved this place. Even though it was winter time, there were plenty of activities and shows. Love the robot museum. Actually my kids loved robot museum more. Hope to visit again on warmer days to enjoy the outdoor exhibits as well.

Very fun place for kids and adults both. It’s great for a day trip and is close to lots of cafes and restaurants. Worth it.

Glad that we visited. It was not in our itinerary at first, but since we have spare time, we took a taxi from Chuncheon train station after lunch and spent the entire afternoon there. It is 7,000 won per pax with tickets to both the robot and animation museum. Tickets sold at the animation museum, but we decided to walk over and visit the robot museum first. The kids love it. There is also a robot dance segment at level 2. It runs about every 2 hours. Do check the timings at the entrance of the level 2 room. There is a cafe with great view at level 3. After the robot museum, we went to the outdoor play area before it closes, and finally to the animation museum before the last admission time at 5pm during summer. The animation museum closes at 6pm. We asked the counter staff to help us call a taxi back to Chuncheon train station, which costs about 13,000 won one way.

We had a coffee fest at the place, really very relaxing and accessible surrounding even for bikers

which is amaizing place to visit with families. Kids would love this place more.

It's one of the best places for kids who like robots and animations. You should watch drone and biped walking robot show if you visit this place.

The inside of the museums are wonderful and educational, and the outdoor grounds are filled with colorful sculptures. The view of the river area from behind the museum is breathtaking.
