Our recent family trip to LEGOLAND Korea in December offered a blend of excitement and challenges, reflective of the season's cold embrace. As a family - myself, my wife, our three kids, and two grandmothers - we ventured into this vibrant theme park amid the chill of winter.

Firstly, the winter weather played a significant role. The cold was palpable, reminding us constantly that we were enjoying LEGOLAND in a season less frequented by tourists. While this added a unique touch to our experience, it also meant that several attractions were closed. Fortunately, this turned out to be a silver lining as it resulted in virtually no queues for the rides that were operational. This was a significant plus, allowing our family to enjoy the rides without the usual wait times.

The park's kid-friendly nature was a major highlight. It was delightful to watch the children's faces light up with joy and excitement, immersing themselves in the colorful, LEGO-themed world. The variety of attractions and activities catered well to their adventurous spirits, ensuring there was never a dull moment.

However, it wasn't all perfect. One notable downside was the food. Our culinary experiences within the park were underwhelming, with the offerings not quite hitting the mark in terms of taste. This was a slight damper on the otherwise enjoyable trip.

Accommodating for a family of our size, including two grandmothers, was relatively smooth. The park's layout and facilities seemed to take into account the needs of a diverse age group, making it a comfortable experience for the entire family.

In conclusion, LEGOLAND Korea, especially during the off-peak winter season, proved to be an engaging destination for our family. The absence of long queues and the overall child-friendly environment were significant positives. The cold weather and limited food options were drawbacks but didn't significantly detract from the overall experience. It's a place that offers joy and excitement, particularly for children, making it a worthwhile visit for families looking for a fun day out.

This place is great for the family and kids. The Lego displays were on point. Mini World was awesome to see and the amount of detail, spot on. The room set-up was enjoyable. Stayed in the NINJAGO room, very cute. My son loved Lego Land and asked to come back again. Had a blast in the disco elevator, lol

In my opinion, the price to stay at the hotel is a bit expensive. I believe they should lower the price to accommodate families who can't afford to attend this amazing place and enjoy their time. Just make it a bit more affordable. All in all, highly recommend bringing your family.

"Awe"some place to visit with toddlers from prek to 3rd grade kids. There are height requirements to get on the rides so make sure your child is at least 90 cm tall to enjoy at least half of the rides!

Park is new and very welcoming atmosphere. Nice attraction with 3D technologies.
The best thing is there is almost no queue time!
The hotel is very kids friendly. It will be a comfortable stay for both kids and adult.
Staff are well trained and polite. Language could be an issue as with any other place in Korea for foreigners, however the hotel is smart nd offer WhatsApp service desk, let you resolve any request or issues promptly without language huzzle

Do not buy express passes, normal ones are sufficient because there are no crowds. We went on a friday on 8 sep 2023. This was summer time and it was decently hot in the afternoon. We were surprised at the lack of visitors considering this was a newly opened park. More people came in during the evenings but it was still relatively quiet, compared to places like universal or disneyland.

Overall as an adult lego fan, you will enjoy it for sure. You can also buy some lego merch that is exclusive in korea, or on discounted prices.

Getting to there from Seoul isnt that easy. You need to change a few trains at least, with the option of taking an express train. At the station there isnt alot of english sometimes so it might help planning the trip properly beforehand. It took us about 2 hours from seoul central hotel to legoland itself.

Amazing place. Great park and perfect for below 12 years. They even have amazing little kids play areas in each of the sections of the park which was great for my 1-year-old son while my older son went on rides. 4d movies were fun and the rides were perfect for that age group. We went for two days and did not regret a moment of it. Short lines and lots of fun. There's a bit of a trek to get there from Seoul. I recommend the ITX line or just renting a car.

Winter Maintenance period experience.

Half the park is closed during this period for maintenance so only 24 rides are open. So here is my experience visiting the park during this down period.

We brought our 5 year old and still managed to spend 8 hours at the park. The park was mostly empty, so it isnt the same vibe as a full park. But even so, the music was playing and the staff were still attentive to you. Best part about it is that there was no wait time at any of the rides. Our daughter just went on any ride as she pleased, as many times as she wanted. Most of the rides that were closed were for older kids so if your kid is around 5, it's still a very enjoyable time.

The resort hotel is also very well thought out and caters much better to children than the Disney hotels. The position of the lights, room amenities, and even door peep hole are all catered to kids. They even have a treasure hunt in the room itself for kids to discover a hidden treasure chest. There are also character walkabouts during meal times, lego pits, and fun activities throughout the hotel. Our daughter loved the stay so mu h she didn't want to leave.

Over winter, with the right expectations, I think young children will still have a wonderful time.

Tip: don't need the fast track pass during the winter downtime period.
Cut off height for some rides is 120cm for kids to ride alone.

Amazing place to visit. All the staff there where exceptional and very respectful to all guests. The lines to get on to the rides where short and all 100% worth it as the rides where really really good and the theaming of the places where well done and paired with the food restaurant which where all really good it definitely makes them all worth a visit. Also all the shops had great options although nothing Korean related which was a shame but still lots f options and if given the opportunity to go again I would.

We availed the LEGO® NINJAGO® Premium / Room, Breakfast and 2 Day Ticket Package, and it was absolutely worth it. With this package, we were able to have access to some kids' activities at the hotel, as well as join the Starry Night at Miniland available to hotel guests only. This activity is usually delivered in Korean, but the Minilander guide did his best to lead the tour in English! He was great!

As much as I love our advancement to cashless transactions, I would still love that cash payment be made an option to guests. The frequent use of my debit card, I think, lead to some unauthorized transactions in my account. An ATM would likewise be good to be placed in or near the area. Additionally, I would also suggest more consideration to non-Korean guests, such as English-lead activities. Lastly, there are so few food options in or near the hotel, especially for people who have special diet (vegan). This can also be considered.

All in all, it was a great experience for the family!

We loved our winter days at the resort. Amazing structure for the kids and parents! Almost half of the attractions were closed due to winter and mantainance but the available one were enough for our family. We are definetly coming back on summer time.

Our family visited today and spent the entire day having fun! We still didn’t see the entire park (we skipped the Ninjago and movie/performances), but we really enjoyed what we did. The wait times were 5 minutes for most rides, a little longer for water rides. The park was clean and staff friendly (almost all spoke English for us). The only negative for us: we wish more food locations were open. Another tip, be sure to have your license plate number to pay for parking at the kiosks as you exit. We highly recommend this park for families!

Fantastic experience. We made sure to come in the middle of the week (Tues/Wed) and as a result we did not have to queue anywhere (+got cheap Legoland hotel).

Our 4.5 year old was about the right age to appreciate the experience. There was maybe one ride where he was too short to enter but the rest was fine.

I concur with some of the reviews saying the signage is not great. Also does not help that the height requirement is not measured at the start of the queue..

But except the two little quirks above this was a great experience for kid and parents alike.

Amazing place for our young family. The kids don’t want to leave honestly. ❤ Highlight for my 7 year old is the pirate water shooting ride and for my 3 year old it’s the ninjago 3d ride.

Great place for kids. Get a quick pass to skip queues as you will wait a long time for rides. Relatively cheap stuff at the Lego shops. If you traveling from Seoul and using the train, it's a long trip.

Nice place to visit. I planned to visit here many years from the beginning when I heard that Lego planned to have LEGOLAND here. Hope here can be continued and more tourists can visit and have fun here.

Place where lego loving kids ho bonkers! My 4 year old personally likes the car driving track, boating track, and spent a lot of time in experience centres where they can spend time on building what their imagination says.

I know there is an issue with the land and it potentially having historic artefacts buried underneath but my rating is based on just the theme park itself.

Great for kids under 10.
Lots of things to ride on and not many in line during week days
