Sanjung Lake

Walking along Sanjung Lake was a great experience. It was a long walk but you can enjoy because of the view. Great for families and friends.

Came here for duck ride on weekend in winter and really liked it here. You can rent a duck shaped bike in 30 mins (fit 2 people) and ride around the frozen lake. It was not many people when I was there (maybe early in the morning). It’s worth money.

Came here almost every year. I think the most succesful visit was last weekend visit. This year, 2022~2023 korea has a lot of snow falling. As well as the day before I visited here, snow fell. I added pics from years ago and also from last weekend's visit. There were so many people but we can still ride the sled or the bicycle or the train by waiting 40 to 60 min. It is still acceptable. They have better system this year, allowing us to get waiting number before finally buy tickets. There are so many rides, but for the note only penguin and duck cycle are allowed in the ice area. For the santa cycle, you must ride through the snow. I can not ride it at all to tell you the truth. So difficult to steer 😲 😱 But my son can ride it very well. (Shame on me!) Oh they have mini amusement park where you can ride viking, etc.

The large lake is peaceful. Great scenery. it will take more than 1hrs to walk alongside the lake if you got some rest from time to time. no entrance fee. a lot of free parking lots.

Beautiful place worth visiting

I went there with my hubby, brother and kids. We got the boat as well. Really relaxing and the kids loved driving the boats. No worries at all cuz it's not busy and the speed for the boat is like turtle running.

산정호수에는 대형 주차장이 두곳에 있습니다. 놀이동산, 얼음썰매, 오리배가 가까워 이용객이 많은 상동주차장과 한화리조트 쪽인 하동주차장이 있습니다. 평일인 금요일 오전 10시 경에 하동주차장에 주차했습니다. 평일이라서 그런지 차단기가 올라가 있어서 주차장을 무료로 이용했습니다. 여기서 낙천지 쪽으로 가서 계단을 조금만 올라가면 산정호수 둘레길이 보입니다. 둘레길은 총 4km, 한시간 정도 소요됩니다.
물위에 데크가 조성돼 있는 구간도 있어 물과 가깝게 걸을 수 있어 좋았습니다.
호수 옆으로 명성산이 병풍처럼 펼쳐져 있어 물과 산의 조화가 멋진 곳입니다.
상동주차장 근처에는 낭만닥터 김사부에서 돌담병원으로 썼던 건물도 있습니다
겨울에는 얼음 썰매 타는 분들 많고, 그 외 계절에는 보트 타는 분들 많습니다.

명성산이 호수를 병풍처럼 둘러있고 망봉산과 망무봉이 좌우에 있어 산속의 우물과 같아 산정호수라 부르며, 그 부근마을을 산정리라 한다.
호수 주변으로 아름다운 둘레길이 펼쳐져 있어 물길(수변데크)과 숲길(소나무길)을 동시에 줄길 수 있으며, 레저스포츠를 즐길 수 있는 공간, 조각공원 등 즐길거리가 있어 관광객들이 많이 찾는다.
특히, 봄 가을에는 아름다운 경치를 감상하는 관광객들이 항상 붐비며, 산책길을 따라 힐링하며, 여유로운 시간을 즐기기에 좋습니다
