Nagan Eupseong Folk Village

Great little village, worth a relaxing few hours to stroll through. There are a couple K-drama filming locations as well. Getting there was very easy by bus from Suncheon.

Korean historic village; highly valued as traditional yet picturesque town.

This is a living museum. You can learn so much about the old way of life and how people lived off the land and survived both individually and as a community.

Great unique experience made even better by visiting on a winter sunny, clear day with very few people around.

There is no other folk village like this in Korea. The walled perimeter (which offer amazing views if you complete the circular walk), straw roofs and clay rooms makes it unique but what I found most interesting is that people still live there.

It is like an open air museum where you can experience what life was a few hundred years ago mixed with a few modern aspects.

Had lunch in the restaurant inside the village - not fancy, just simple food served with kindness. It was one of the best pancakes I had in Korea.

Traditional Korean village. Good experience to see how locals used to and some of them still live. You can also rent a house and stay in one of the traditional houses. There are also a few restaurants which serve great food.

Highly recommend to visit here. Even food from restaurants was good.

This is a must-visit tourist attraction and historical site if you travel to Suncheon.

You will be able to spend a good time with your children. It is a well-maintained historic village of thatched houses, and it is a quiet place compared to an amusement park or a kids cafe.

Enjoy the cultural heritage of Korea. A must do at Sincheon. Go there at the morning because it's quite difficult if you don't have a car like me.... Buses are complicated here. So like that you can go to the temples near too.

Really cool walled in folk village. Its cheap to enter and easy to navigate. The best part is that you can actually walk along the top of the wall. You get some pretty great views of the village and mountains up there. They also have some music and traditional style events that are going on as well. The restaurants inside are good to eat as well. Plan accordingly for transport though because leaving can be a pain if you used public transportation and it's difficult to call a taxi without having some korean language under your belt.

Traditional folk village, with a lot of shops. Have won on you if you want to buy anything. Be courteous as Korean is spoken here. I ate boiled bugs that taste like boiled peanuts.

When I was a child, I watched a K Drama named Dae Jang Geum for the first time. After more than 20 years I made it to visit the drama set. What a wonderful experience!

Very nice place Naga Eupseong Village is korea historic place. We enjoyed really.

A great place to visit, especially in fall

There are many Korean style teatchrd House.
There are peple living in the House, and there are peple who farm there.

The special place getting time machine to Chosun dynasty 500years ago. Can enjoy traditional Korean cultures.

This is a traditional Korean village where it indicates how ancient Koreans used to operate and live. It’s located in Jeollanam-do province close to the Suncheon city. It would be a great experience and please be respectful towards the local customs and culture of the Korean people once you are visiting

This folk village is a small village inside a fortress. This is one of the most beautiful attraction in suncheon. Its out of city so very calm and environment is very natural. You can also ride public bus from the city to the spot.
