It is peaceful and since I went during a flower festival , the island was very scenic. Definitely a must visit place .

Very good. Just walked round with dogs ( on leads or get jobsworths on) very nice pleasant walk round. Council clearly spend too much money on this place to try attract tourists. A few more permanent trees and perenial shrubs would suffice. No need to alter everything all the time wasting taxpayers money.

You can see fields of flowers in spring and autumn. Very big park with lots and lots of flower. Better park your car nearby the Nando park otherwise you must walk for about 20 min

The pink muhly garden is fantastic in the fall. I made the mistake of parking in the public lot at the entrance, but there is another public parking lot right at the park.

At the Jara Island, various events are held in 365 days. There is huge green yard and auto camping spot with the Northern Han River. Good for healing
