Truly an authentic and cultural lunch experience in Ine.

The owner, Alex is friendly and informative. Enjoys sharing the history of his town. Alex also exports his own sea cucumbers. Dried sea cucumber rice bowl was delicious.

Whale sashimi was interesting!

Came to this restaurant because it was very famous! We didn't know that we had to book a week in advance, but Alex still let us in after I emailed him a day before. We got two bowls of sea cucumber and two bowls of dried abalone porridge! They tasted amazing, I can taste the fragrance of the seafood and the time that has been put into them. We also bought 2 bottles of skincare essence that was extracted from sea cucumber. Alex gave us very good price for everything, both the food and the skincare products!

Alex was an amazing host. Because it was Nagisa's 10th anniversary, we even got extra gifts like postcards, an お守り, and a soap bar made of sea cucumber! Congratulations on 10 year anniversary!

The restaurant owner is very friendly and welcoming! It made our welcome to Ine personable and warm, paired with the homey and tasty fresh seafood dishes. The abalone porridge is my order, and I love the consistency. The raw seafood were excellent as well. Highly recommended!

stumbled across this restaurant and did not have a reservation. however, the helpful restaurant owner let us in and we ordered the soy marinated tuna bowl and minced tuna bowl (the others on the menu were by reservation only). the bowls did not disappoint and were really fresh! special mention to the restaurant owner who gave us tips on how to explore ine, and even placed a singapore flag when he found out we were singaporeans! would definitely come back again!

One of the few restaurants in Ine and it's quite exclusive, so make sure to reserve in advance. Specializes in sea cucumber and abalone, we tried the sea cucumber, abalone, and negitoro bowl. They were all delicious, my favorite was the sea cucumber bowl.

Alex is a great host and was very helpful and responsive with everything from reservation to tips around Ine.

Foods are the best. My family order tuna bowl, beef bowl, sea cucumber bowl and whale sashimi. Owner is vary friendly and nice. I recommend to try this restaurant in Ine. :)

Love this place, we made reservations and they gave us a table with Japan and Malaysia flag which was awesome. The bar had very authentic Japanese izakaya vibe of you watched Midnight Diner you'll know what I mean.

Alex the owner had visited Malaysia several times and he even has Bak Kut Teh in the menu we regret we didn't try it but we tried the Simmered Tuna Bowl and Raw Minced Tuna mixed with Shoyu Marinated Tuna Bowl. Minced raw tuna was so fresh and the shoyu marinated tuna was to die for. Simmered Tuna is ideal for those who prefer cooked fish, it was just as good but Raw Tuna was definitely better.

Such a lovely little place. The owner is so nice and welcoming and the fish is super tasty! The tuna is perfect!

The freshest whale sashimi bowl was served to us. And the sea cucumber bowl was also perfect.
The owner was very warm and hospitable and explained the menu to us in detail.
Highly recommended!

Unlike many reviewers, I hadn't done any research on restaurants in the area and didn't have plans to visit this one. My wife and I just happened to be walking by when the owner was biking up to his place. He seemed really friendly, so we popped in and enjoyed one of the best meals we had during our trip in Japan. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Very chilling, the owner is really nice, food is a 10/10. I never liked sea cucumbers, but after i ate here, I’d never forget the taste of sea cucumbers. Same with porridges, after I ate the abologne porridge here, I will never eat other porridges the same again.

Was pleasantly surprised by this place that we stumbled upon while looking for lunch in Ine. We had abalone rice bowl and mixed tuna rice bowl and the amazing food definitely made our day in Ine better. Owner is super friendly and kind. Upon learning that we were from Singapore, he placed a decoration with a Singapore flag and a Japan flag on the table. Also got to see the photos he took around Ine and received a cute little postcard from him!

Would definitely visit again if I come to Ine again in the future.

I’m vegetarian and it was the only place with a vegetarian option, my friend had tuna and it was the best tuna she ever had in her life ! The quality of the products is amazing, the owner speaks very good English and gave us nice recommendations to visit.

We had a really great time here at the restaurant Nagisa! There are great food options for everyone, and the owner is really kind! He takes time to tell you about Ine and makes the restaurant very warm and welcoming.
