Very nice and unique falls in the nature. Around 15 minutes from Kawaba City. Also not too crowded. You also can do a round hike for around 30 minutes - 1 hour.
You can park very closely for only 500 yen. No entry cost.
So if you like nature and water, definitely recommended! Also around 2-3 hours from Tokyo.

Wow this is one of the widest waterfalls ive ever seen here in Japan. It is so easy to get here and you can use your IC card as well. You have to take off at Fukiware no Taki Bus stop so you can start seeing the view of the falls from bottom up to the bridge. There is also a round track way going back. It is so enchanting, really. I love it! Aside from that, the tourist spot is free. It doesnt have entrance fee. 🥰

Must visit falls! Best start from the Fukiware great bridge, after parking in the free municipal parking (otherwise it is 500 yen for parking). Walk up on the road to the left by the small shrine, and do the circle clockwise.

First time experience with a fall which is eye level. easy to access. good parking spot. very big area. a lit of thing to explore. also saw monkey family. But it is suggested to be careful, specially with babies. It might be deadly if someone crosses some certain point. recommended to visit.

Beautiful and easy loop hike! There is a long path and a shorter path- both are relatively easy. We did the longer path and it took about 40 minutes (stopping to take pictures). There are some stairs going up and down- the paths are well maintained and easy going!

The place is amazing to spend your evening but the only problem is they don’t allow you to go the nearest point in order to see the fall with a better view. You have to step out and have to go to restricted area. But you will hear the announcement from the staff and that’s annoying.

Be aware that you can’t get close in winter as they are closed for safety reasons. However if you are near by then you can look down from above and they are very spectacular.

This place is absolutely beautiful and worth even a long drive to see it. You'll probably have to pay Y1000 yen for parking (that you can put towards the shops items like apples or miso etc). You can find free parking at the traffic light slightly south of the falls. This place is beautiful all year but I recommend autumn as the colours are just amazing. If you're interested in taking great photos, best to go really early in the morning because this place is a tourist attraction with lots of visitors.

Sunken, striated falls and bottomless whirlpools...

The mysterious valley stone-basin is smooth and folded like worn, granite-hued bone.

One of the most famous waterfalls in Gunma Prefecture. Lovely place to visit with your lovely ones and take some pictures. You could go through the jungle and take photos but it takes around 40 mins. There are so many restaurants around. Both paid and free car parks are available.

Loved it! The highlight of our entire trip to Ibaraki. It was breathtaking to see something so spectacular carved out and moulded by mother nature over millions of years.
It was, being a tourist hotspot, crowded with keen tourists who thronged the entire pathway of the waterfall like ants, but polite and orderly ants at that, that never litter! It's apparently best to go during Autumn when the leaves take on the glorious yellow and red colors!

Stunning spot. You can not get into the water. But still you can walk along the river.
You can find a car park near by, cost around 500¥.

Really beautiful and easy to get to. Follow the signs once you get close... Google maps was trying to lead me down some tiny roads. You can park at the little shops for free if you buy something there. We parked in a lot right at one of path entrances and paid 500 yen since we had small children with us. I would caution about taking small children... They did ok, but the path right next to the flowing water is very narrow, so I was constantly telling them to stay to the side, don't run, "stop skipping!", Etc. But it is an amazing waterfall and definitely worth going to. The drive there and back (from Maebashi) was also beautiful!

Very nice place to see nature with your family and loved ones. There are also small shops that sells vegetables and fruits. If you are planning to eat near the vicinity, expect a simple lunch with simple japanese dishes. Also, this can be a romantic place when you are planning on moving on with your relationships. Just pick a day that is not too busy and that would be perfect.

Scenic and easy accessibility, Fukiware is a beautiful waterfall to spend a couple of hours. Nearby restaurants and shops selling local produce.

Beautiful and fearsome river. Be careful, the stream is strong and unpredictable. Dangerous in winter when it's slippery.
