VASARA Kimono Rental Kamakura Station Store

The women at Vasara Kimono Rental were fabulous. We loved our experience. Everyone was so polite, helpful, and friendly. They made us feel very cared for. The price was very reasonable for an amazing experience. There are many places to take pictures in Kamakura and wearing traditional Japanese garb really enhanced our adventure.

Had a lovely time with my wife and her aunts renting kimonos here. Beautiful choices for the ladies and a surprisingly good selection of styles for guys, too - including accessories. Very impressed. The staff were very helpful in picking out a nice set and helping everyone put it on.

They had many choices at different price! The ones we got became pricy, in total we paid $150. It was worth the experience though! I definitely recommend this shop.

4 of my friends and I tried on the yukatas and it was so much fun! The staff were super attentive and nice even though we couldn’t speak Japanese. They were able to communicate with us very well. Thanks for the memorable experience and shoutout to Miyu for styling my hair :))

I came here with my friend during the hydrangeas season. It was a really great experience! The staff are nice and helpful, it is really easy to get dressed up. The wide range of yukata provide in the shop are really cute! The shop is right next to the train station it is only a 3mins walk.

Very professional and a lot of options to choose from. Take walk ins and getting ready is super quick. I would come back with friends and family.

Fantastic experience❣ We went to the other shop in Kawagoe the day before was already 5pm, the staff were so nice that helped to notify the shop in Kamakura.
Staff in Kamakura are all so nice and efficient. They helped to give suggesstion on different Kimono and Yukata, so many options. Clear price, selection for free options are varies for men and ladies.
It was on my bday, cant imagine that color in Kimono matches the day so much. Wonderful experience, must come back again with my family next time.

Was greeted by warming and professional staff. They had an extensive range of Yukata and Kimono with plenty of accessories to go with it.
We rented the Yukata which was comfortable and surprisingly wasn’t hot during 32° weather.
The staff were happy to assist and helped put on the Yukata very quickly. They also did the hair nicely.

It is a very good experience and the staff are very professional. I did the hair style and the choice of kimono is good. I enjoy the experience here.
