Couple of machines and areas were closed off for maintenance. Overall a great day out for the kids, 4 hours is enough. Great for rainy days as it’s only a 5 minute walk from Yokodai station. Couple of other attractions in the surrounding park. food is cheap in the cafe. 300¥~500¥ Per meal. My twins are 4 years old so they got in for free. Just had to pay for myself. 400¥. We took the planetarium tickets 1200¥ in total and my kids wanted to leave halfway through but stayed to the end and like it but not their favourite. But defo a 5 star attractions based on the number of interactive exhibits.

This was a great space for younger and older kids. There are lots of interactive spaces and a huge play area that our kids loved. Many of the exhibits have signs in English as well which is really nice. There’s an eating area on an upper floor and a cafe on the first floor.

Very interactive for kids. It's great that they have so much to offer for kids to use, experience and learn from by actually seeing it in action.
I've been with my family a few times and just a coupl of hours will do. Not sure if someone could spend an entire day there without getting repetitive and boring for kids.

Visited the place for the first time with 3 and 7 years old kids!
The very amazing place that was very interesting both both kids.
It provides a very unique space understanding opportunity for children and finally there much fun to enjoy and just spend a time. The facility is not very big but make sure your kids will be busy for at least 2-3 hours.
The only recommendation would like to do is to book science activity lesson in advance. It is not possible to get it on the spot. This will definitely be a very useful experience for the kids older than 5/6 years old.
There is not big parking lot so if you decide to go by car the earlier visit is recommended.

It's a fun place for my kindergarten kids. We spent a whole day there. There got toys, simulation machine, and indoor slide. Very close to train station. Good for raining day!

The Hamagin Space museum is aimed to elementary pupils to explain them space and planets. There is also a planetarium with an anime in Japanese. Very few explanations are English unfortunately. They also have one section for artificial intelligence. Also inside there is a playground for younger kids and a restaurant. Despite the fact that it looks small you can easily spend a day in it letting your young kids enjoying the playground and the experiments that the museum offers.

5 floors and 2 basements of family friendly space fun and science. Excellent value at the price as well.

Cafe is cheap and fine for drinks but pretty basic food wise, if you were staying over lunch I'd suggest you bring your own and eat it in the areas provided

Lots to do for a small fee, this was a great place for rainy day fun. Would probably be most appealing to early elementary school kids, but our preschoolers had a blast. There’s a small cafe inside.

Tons of things for the kids to do, and I found myself having fun too. Most of the tactile activities taught a skill or hard science. A decent amount of English, too. Cheap price. Paid parking nearby.

Great place to introduce kids to physics, fun for adults too. The planetarium should have a program just for space though..not just Pokémon

Great place for kids. Several floors of varied activities and exhibits. The cafeteria is also very inexpensive, so don't be afraid to eat here.
