Lake Bake Cafe

A cute bakery that is walkable from Oishi park. Too bad the cafe wasn't open. They have a selection of artisan breads and pastries. Very delicious breads i would say. There was a lot of customers when we went hence we didnt get to take picture of what they have.

A really cute store with fresh delicious bread. Such a pity that the cafe was closed when we get there, I was hoping to have a cup of coffee while viewing mount fuji ( ･᷄-･᷅ )

AMAZING BAKERY. As soon as you walk in it smells divine. Good selection all hot and fresh and delicious! Not huge but plenty to choose from.
Only thing is that their seating area both inside and outside was closed today,not sure why, but we got takeaway and sat in the park overlooking Mt Fuji and were very happy.
Will 100% go back when I'm next in the area!!

A hidden gem. One can taste the love and care put into the fresh bakes they produce.

Everything I tried (including the specialty coffee) is simply delicious. Subete ga oisihikattedesu! If you're around the Fuji 5-lakes area and you don't make the trip to this place, you're really missing out.

One of the best view bakery in the world facing Mt Fuji. All bread are freshly baked daily and open at 10. Good if they open 9 or earlier.

The Fig Bread was very good, obviously baked in the right environment, perfecr crust, soft inside and flavored well, but the pumpkin scone was exquisite. The scone was almost, almost layered, but rich with just the right amount of pumpkin flavor. Great view, wonderful food.

Tasty bread, great place to stop for an afternoon tea when riding bicycles around the lake. Thankful they accommodated me needing to charge my phone. There aren't public plugs in most cafes so they charged it behind the counter.

Very lovely bakery with Mount Fuji view! This bakery is located next to Oishi Park. The breads are very yummy! We just love it. Highly recommended!

Kawaii bakery with some real nice bakes. The backside of the cafe has some spectacular views of Fuji San. Take the red line bus from kawaguchiko station and get down at the last stop 20.

Great little bakery! I went with my husband on a weekday, around midday. There was no crowd and lots of fresh baked buns. My favorite was the potato bun - it was still hot when I got it. The bread was nice and crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, not mushy even with the potato inside. If I ever make it back to Kawaguchiko, I will stop by this cafe again!

Supernice small Cafe. Not crowded and not touristy at all. Enjoy coffee with View of Mount Fuji - priceless! Staff is so nice. Best coffee i had in Japan so far...

I don’t understand why this place isn’t rated higher... bakeries close when they run out of baked goods... that seems to be the same all around the world. Sure the views are amazing, but you can see those from the nearby park... you need to go here because this bakery has delicious and fresh baked goods!! You should go and eat all the things. Like, right now. The U shaped pastry, the apple pie, and the triangle shaped pastries were all fantastic. There was a bit of a wait to get in and we arrived on a weekday about 20 minutes after they had opened... it was very worth the wait.
