Visiting the Mount Fuji World Heritage Centre was an enlightening experience, beautifully showcasing the cultural and natural significance of this iconic mountain. The architecture of the centre itself is a marvel, thoughtfully designed to offer panoramic views of Mount Fuji. This is Fuji Yama (Mountain) heritage centre. Entry is free. This centre has two halls, North Hall and South Hall.
South Hall has audio video shows including sound effects and light effects also.
This is worth visiting here if we are around. This has less attraction for kids but very knowledge sharing centre for them.

It's a great center for you to get more detailed information about the magnificent Mt Fuji. But the layout was a bit confusing to me as I'm not actually sure where to start even though there were boards showing you the "Route".
Overall it's a great experience.

We walked a little ways from Kawaguchiko station and it took about 30 minutes to get there. The heritage center provides a very unique and wonderful experience to learn about the history of Mt. Fuji. There was no wait and admission was free on the weekday. I really enjoyed the library and artworks featured there and learning about the different lakes that surround Fujisan. I would highly recommend this place but it might be easier to access by car since the bus shows up only once an hour. The cafe was delicious and they had an amazing souvenir shop as well.

We watched a great video about Mt Fuji, very informative, great scenery & beautiful images. The view from the observation deck was great. Those photos are actual on my camera, didn't get any on my phone. My My Fuji images are from the cruise we did earlier in the day.
The gift shop had some great souvenirs & reasonable prices. Got a great My Fuji shaped sake bottle, only 1800yen
