Asahikawa Ramen Village

Too many tourists, including us. We decided to go to the one without waiting lines outside. But, the line quickly formed right after we were seated. Ramens were good, but they were too salty for my kid. I wonder if this was a common trouble to others with kids.

This place has a collection of ramen places, each with a different speciality. We tried a traditional ramen and also one with a silky fowl base. Some places offer half bowls so you can try a few bowls at different shops.

Too many ramen restaurants to choose from. If you love ramen that is. We chose this ramen restaurant as it was less customers, I'm not a big fan of ramen but their ramen was fantastic. Glad we chose this restaurant

Very delicious meal, it’s called kokuma jukusei shoyu ramen. I asked to have extra meat put in. The food was served pretty quickly, it wasn’t boiling hot but still hot, and the pitcher of water was left for us on the table didn’t have to keep asking for more water like most other places. Place is Kobo Kato Ramen.

I wish I had more time here so I can try every ramen stall 🍜

There are lots of ramen stalls selling delicious food here. It's a 15 minute drive from Asahikawa Station.

Good place to find several popular ramen shop at one place. Free parking and surrounded by several shopping mall.

Just wow, what a beautiful meal! Best late lunch ever....tasty, tasty. Service was outside - would stay in Asahikawa just to eat here!

I like to eat ramen and feel that any restaurant is delicious.

There are several ramen stalls in this village.

During my visit, I tried the ramen stall which my tour guide mentioned as the oldest. The stall served good butter corn miso ramen with good chashu. The ramen was also well-cooked (not too hard or too soggy). The chashu was also tender, and tasty, and has fair bits of pork fat on the sides of the slice. The broth is also not surfeiting, even after one whole bowl.

Very nice ramen village with a lot of variety of ramen to choose from. The ramen there is superb.

Nice place with a fair selection of ramen shops.A little bit remote and hard to access however.

A word of advice: do not blindly follow the crowd and simply go to where the most people are. That's how we found this little gem called Ramen Ittetsu-an.

Give Ramen Ittetsu-an a chance whenever you get there. The soy salt (shoyu) ramen is so rich yet light at the same time, and their jidori chashu is to die for.

there were many ramen shops in the village. I have eaten the traditional Japanese ramen with a reasonable price. It was quite a very delicious noodle.

The Ramen is the best i've eaten in Hokkaido to date, I've ate the 1 where they serve it with A lot of veges, Their ramen was on Point, and the food was just amazing, the only downside was there were SO LITTLE places.
