I have seen autumn plants in Japan. Hitachi Seaside Park is one hour from Tokyo by highway. It was a fantastic sight. Prices in Japan are very cheap now, so there were many people from Asia like me.

visited in the middle of August during sunflower season. The fields of sunflowers looked absolutely amazing. Plus there was a light show held in the evening over the hills of kochia.

Very well maintained nemophila flowers on Miharashi Hill, looks beautifully blue just like competing with the blue sky. This blue blend can be seen during the month of April and may. Although we could not witness 120 species of roses but one could enjoy this may be by the end of may month. Avoid visiting during June and July months, since there are not many flowers because of the scorching summer.

Wow! was my first expression when I saw this red kochia at the Hill of Miharashi. They turned red usually in summer. I was lucky to see them on their reddest about a week ago (usually they turn red on October / autumn)

Around the end of April~beginning of May every year Nemophila will occupy the whole area and become a must-visit spot in this period.
It takes about roughly 1hour of train and 20mins bus to there, strongly recommend!

Caught the turning of the colors but ended up getting rained on the entire time. Overall would be very pretty park if the weather cooperates

Have visited here in end Apr. The Nemophila is almost all bloosmed, very nice scenery particularly with a clear blue sky. You can move forward to other parts of the garden to see different flowers. You can rife bikes there too. Great to go with kids. Need to spend a whole day there.

a wonderful sight to behold. a hill swarmed with flowers, of a lovely blue colour. the beautiful tulips seemed ordinary when compared to the nemophila. the atmosphere was simply great. there is ample parking costing ¥510.

The flower field is beautiful if it's fully bloomed. By the end of April it's a good time to visit, but you can expect a lot of other visitors too.
