This area was definitely the most mild terrain in Niseko but had some of the best powder and least amount of people. The food area was incredible and had tons of options and bonus they also had a dj playing the one afternoon. I went back for night skiing a few nights and had an excellent time even though the lift is really short and only a beginner hill. Tons of powder to be found in late February.

Great ski slop for beginners as it's long and mostly gentle. The gondola is enclosed but ski off. Highly r commend the ski slop here.

Good place to ski
Nice ski lifts and gondolas, Hana 1 and the Symphony Gondola have leather heated seats which is surprising for a ski resort. The slopes are nice and also powdery. I would recommend this resort.

Equipped with the latest lifts (with heating) and abundant routes for all ski/snowboard levels, view of Mount Yotei on the top is amazing; less crowded than Hirafu

Very nice ski resort, great natural snow slopes, hotels in walking distance to ski area and gondolas.

I went on the Hanazono Zipflight, which is the longest zipline in Japan. It was an excellent experience. The staff were friendly and I felt very safe even though it was my first time trying zip lining. Highly recommended for anyone trying zip lining for the first time. Remember to book in advance to get a discount.

Originally came here solely for the snow tubing. There’s this magic carpet (sky elevator) that brings u up the slope for free and found out that beginner skiers and snowboarders can use it too. So ended up renting skis and also used the lower slopes. Quite a nice place. Would visit again.

Super deluxe. Six person lift has heated seats. Geesh. The gondola is essentially a beginner lift (nothing wrong with that but rather unique).
Restaurant at the base is world class for ski resorts. You have to go to Vail or Aspen to find a more upscale joint.

I came here a few days ago for joining the tree trekking. It was fun and I had a great time. Staff are professional and helful.
Though I didnt take photos for tree trekking, I would like to share the sky bus bus route here.
I travelled on my own and did some searching about how to get to Hanazono resort in summer time. Online search result (including google map) didnt shows about the sky bus. I thought there would be no public transport to get there at all and was planned to call a taxi if necessary.
I found sky bus until I get to Kutchan. Though it's only running for a limited period of time, it provides a great help for single traveller like me. Hope this information helps.

Great place for anyone, from family to black trails and jumps, easy links between lifts and trees. Might be better to offer more choices of food at the footcourt though.

First time skier, so I came here to take 2 full day lessons, and it was good. I learned a lot from nothing to knowing how to break and turn on the slope. The instructors are all very nice and professional. The slope are very nice too, so do come and check it out.

Hanazono was great for a beginner like me, learning to snowboard. It's less crowded than Grand Hirafu, affording me sufficient space to learn at my own pace.
Also, I really appreciate having magic carpets (ie. flat escalators!) to hoist me up the beginner slope, after falling on my bum numerous times.

There is a reason why Niseko is full of Aussies. They know a good deal when they see one. Hanazono is the smaller resort at one end of the Niseko ski fields but is working on a big upgrade according to their website. Plenty of powder stashes in the trees beside the groomed runs. I’ll be back! Note: Ring the bells with your stock as you ski past, not your fingers, they’re solid!
