Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise

We just went to the aquarium area, and really enjoyed it! They have a beluga and dolphin show that my kids loved! We spent about 1.5-2 hours there. It was lightly raining and most of the kid rides weren't running and the kids play area was closed. Be sure to look at the daily schedule to catch the mammals show.

Lots of activities to do for family. This place has several selections of dining facilities, the most I have seen in an amusement park.

It's a Place Every one should go, visit & enjoy. (Specially Kids)

Amazing places to visit with friends or family! Kids will love marine life display and shows. Very cute.
With friends, the amusement park offers a lot of rides. 1 day is not enough!
We did not get accommodation but would have wanted to stay to watch the night shows..
We took the seaside line train which had a beautiful view. Took the shuttle bus from the station to the entrance of the aqua museum.. The bus can take you to specific rides also, but restricted timings.
Lot of food options in the food court or a couple of good restaurants. As always, restrooms everywhere. Nice souvenirs shopping too.
We had fun!

Such a fun place! Even better when they have the drone, fireworks, and music show. Enjoy the all you can eat and drink for a four hour show.

Sea Paradise in Yokohama Hakkeijima! This park is an hour and 45 minutes or two hours from Tokyo, depending on where you’re staying in Tokyo. However it is all worth it. You can easily stay for the whole day after you finish enjoying the Aquarium. There’s a trail along the sea line and kids park and recreation. Also tremendous food options in park. Please do visit if you’re in Tokyo, give the park some support, it is not a new and fancy Aquarium but it’s got the best dolphin shows I’ve ever seen! 💯⭐

The sea paradise is actually a combination of a theme park and a aquarium.
This time we only experience the Aquarium I think it is The best aquarium so far in Japan.

Awesome aquarium about a 30 min train ride from the core of Yokohama. There are 4 separate areas you can visit with admission to the park. I only did 3 of the 4 because one of the areas you actually get to cast your own line and go fishing, and then can cook what you catch, wasn’t adventurous enough for that one. But the other 3 are amazing, Fureai Lagoon especially, you get to be a few feet away from the dolphins and I was even able to play pass with them, throwing a basketball back and forth. Incredible experience.

Good for family and couples. You will walk a lot and up n down stairs. Be sure to wear walking shoes and see maps if you need elevators.

Great place! I was brought here for the roller coaster! The park itself is very wide open and spacious, gave great views (and you could see Mt Fuji), clean, and staff was nice.

Very good place with lots of sea animals. Not easy to get there though and hard to find taxi to return home.

After enjoying interacting with sea creatures, head to Pleasure Land, where there are various attractions that the whole family can enjoy. How about Surf Coaster Leviathan, the only roller coaster in Japan that runs on the sea.The weather is very hot now need to bring umbrella too.

This place is great. The staff were very nice. I enjoyed their show. There were a lot of sea creatures. Every attraction was accessible. Definitely a good destination for families.

Great aquarium around the Yokohama area. Very accessible for a day trip from Tokyo. The place is fun and has amazing shops & restaurants. Great place for a whole family member. You can bring your kids to this place, and they will be having so much fun. Recommended visiting at least once when you're in Japan.

One of the wonderful places which you can make some good memories with your family,kids or your partner. It would be nice if the general admission is a little bit priced down but still the good place to enjoy your weekends.

With both an amusement park and an aquarium, you could have a whole day of fun! At the aquarium, they keep not only fish, but also polar bears and capybaras. The school of small fish was an impressive sight! And the walruses were another powerhouse! The amusement park is for small children.

So many things to do, it's all day experience, and everything was top notch, especially the aqua show with the walrus and dolphins! The kids really enjoyed themselves. We will be returning soon!!

Fabulous.very good entertaining area.lots of fun rides are there. Dolphin's show is wonderful.
