Can see the American army camp.

I am pretty sure the review media picker is broken... Why I picked photo of ships and have hamburgers 🍔 shown?

They park was very nice well-maintained has several spots that would be good for taking pictures. It also has a very long channel and at the back of the park is a pond that does water shows at certain times throughout the day. Overall I think this is a very beautiful Park to visit. Oh there were also signs that warned you about hawks taking your food.

If you are a fan of history and naval battles, you really need to visit this place. Although this Mikasa battleship is not kept as its original satus , you can feel and understand how important it is in the history, not to mention the Russia - Japan war is a turning point of Japan Empire.

Very nice area not too far a walk from the train station, the ship is the obvious attraction and there’s an old steam engine which is impressive up close.

The views out to the sea are great too with a lot of activity to watch

Amazing tribute to Admiral Togo and the Fleet that brought victory and honor to Japan. The interior of the ship contains models of every ship that served in IJN.

Beautiful place right outside of Yokosuka Naval Base. Our kids love the fountain show. It is a special place to us.

Come for the Russo-Japanese era battleship but enjoy the nightly water show fountain show, greenery and boats to Monkey Island. The arch takes nice sunset photos and is a popular selfie spot.

Great experience getting to look inside a battle ship first hand. Also, you can use the entrance ticket to get a discount on the ferry to sarushima.

It's a cool place to learn about the history of this battle ship, it's a very short day trip if you're from the base, and the ferry for monkey island is right next door.

Wonderful and well-preserved piece of history with many exhibits on board the ship (the park itself is free but the ship has an admission price). Non-Japanese speakers should note the exhibits are partially but not fully translated.

Plenty to see and a comprehensive history inside the ship. A true relic of another century yet grounded in reality.

Great display of a park. The place to see is the Mikasa battleship but I have that in another review. Here are some pics of the park I took. Also there's an steam locomotive on display there as well.

A great place to take the family or just yourself. Enjoy the fountain show or just unwind with a view of the Tokyo Bay.

It's a lovely park, can't wait to picnic here and for the cherry blossoms. The museum costs $6 for adults and is discounted for children. It is brimming with interesting stories and history. Most of the exhibits feature both japanese and English translations and it's phenomenal.

Park is dedicated to one of the great warships of history, the IJN Mikasa, flagship of Admiral Heihachiro Togo at the Battle of Tsushima.
