Jomyo-ji

This is one of the hidden gems of kamakura.
The entrance Fee is 100 Yen. For that you get an incredible garden without many Tourists and a chance to enjoy good Tea.

I was enchanted by the beauty of zed garden and the tea ceremony. It was a sunny day in autumn and I really like the jomyoji temple. With the fall color and mesmerizing natural beauty, I must say this is call tranquility.

A short bus ride from Kamakura will get you to this small Zen temple with a large cemetery further up the hill.

Peaceful temple and found the gorgeous tea/bakery house inside . Their scones and tea was fantastic plus a magnificent view of garden. A must visit place but you have to go through the temple to get there .

Entrance is 100¥ and you can have Matcha tea with a Japanese Sweet for 1100¥ or 660¥ (depends on choice of sweet) cash only. Wonderful experience!

Jomyoji is small temple with 2 gardens. Flower garden and japanese style zen garden.

Zen garden is inside cafe which you have to pay for your drink 660¥
I only enter zen park it’s so calm and silent pace you can enjoy good japanese tea and mini Zen garden. Sooo calm & stress relief

Temple with good view and cleanliness.
Make sure to have some coins where the entry is not for free.
It has toilet inside and tea hut and garden terrace.

If you visit this temple, you should also go to garden terrace where has an amazing and a relaxing view. The menu has meals and sweets including drinks. The staff is friendly and welcoming as well.

Beautiful temple with historical tea house and garden. Worth your time to visit and enjoy peaceful ambient.

It's beautiful peaceful shrine

In November, we got to see both red maple and one tree with blooms. Some uphill walking required to reach Ishigama Garden Terrace. Serene.

Very quiet and beautiful shrine. Not much crowds. Jus opposite of the bus stop in front of Hokokuji temple.

Peaceful and beautiful location to enjoy a cup of tea and a Japanese snack/dessert. Great view.

Cheap and pretty. Small area to walk around and enjoy nature for 100¥

Really beatiful temple. Would gladly recommend for anyone to visit.
