Sailed around the 99 islands. So beautiful 😍 The museam and rock area was lovely and super clean. I have never seen boats in a harbor without polluted water all around.

A beautiful place to go. You are recommended to take the cruise trip to have all beautiful sight around these area. You also can have a one-day ticket for bus to visit several hill tops. There is a place where is a scene of Tom Cruise’s The last Samurai.

Beautiful way to experience some of the Japanese sea side. 45 minute boat ride for ¥1500, multiple trips a day. Got a taxi there and was on a boat within 30 minutes. The views are great. Boat is steady enough for good photography. Highly recommend for visitors.

When your in sasebo, never missed to visit this 99 islands.. super cozy, nice for the islands, super wide not crowded and at the same time never missed taking a cruise to wander the island... it could be one of the best fun activity to see all the islands... a good timing for visit maybe around october coz its not that cold nor hot but still when ur cruise expect for the cold windy so still bring warm jackets.. A nice activity to bond with your loves and a family bonding.. they do have little aquarium too, it would be great time for kiddos to get close the ocean...

My kids love it. We finished the whole aquarium in about an hour since they were so excited to move from place to place but overall it's beautiful. They also have a dolphin show that you can catch at about 12:30 I believe. Restaurants around the aquarium are amazing, various places to choose from. And other activities around the aquarium as well. Be sure too ride the ship for a great experience.

The Kujukushima (literally translated to Ninety-nine) Islands are beautiful. The boat ride there was also great. I highly recommend people come to Kujukushima Islands.

The first thing we did here was join the Oyster festival. We were given grilling utensils, 2kgs of Kujuku oysters and there was white wine for sale too!

Next thing we did was yacht around the archipelago with other tourists. Since we sat towards the rear-end of the boat, we got to handle the wheel for a bit. It cost 2000 yen per person.

There was also ice cream sandwiched between two Castella slices in Matcha, Biwa (local fruit), strawberry, vanilla and red bean paste flavors.

We had a great time! The ride was smooth even on a windy day. Expert navigation. It is a Sasebo MUST! Great look into the 99 Islands!

Really great tour of the islands. It has modern, comfortable, beautiful ships on which to take the journey while receiving insightful information. A real gem of Sasebo.

This place is so beautiful and there are many things to do including the aquarium tour, strolling on the bay and taking the cruise to see the beautiful sunset.

Lots of fun, surprisingly in English as well. The Mirai ship was themed as a pirate ship, there isn’t a whole lot of theming but they tried. Sadly it’s not running right now but I’m sure the Pearl Queen is just as fun!

We obtained a discount on tickets using 7 day JR rail pass.
The boat trip was scenic and it was carried on safely, worth the small cost of the excursion.

I loved the boat tour! There's the regular boat tour and then one especially for kids that's pirate themed. You don't really need to understand Japanese to appreciate the beauty and fun experience. There's a couple places to shop and eat here too. Personally, I recommend Pinnochio's as it is amazing Italian food more than worth the price. It's kid friendly too even if it comes off as more of a date spot. Kids love the big, traditional brick oven that takes up two stories and you can look out and see the ship tours passing. There's also outdoor seating too so you can enjoy those pretty summer days.

Even though this is meant for tourists, it's more than worth the visit. My mom and I used to go here all the time just to stroll the boardwalk and have lunch together. I really cannot recommend this place enough.

Perfect spot to take family, friends and even for a date! Nice small shops and the 99 island boat tour is absolutely amazing, plus if you take the boat tour the aquarium is also discounted . The aquarium has a nice dolphin show as well . Definitely good for a day trip or afternoon as both don't take too long and are fairly inexpensive.

Absolutely gorgeous cruise especially in a sunny day. The cruise itself takes about an hour and you will enjoy the scenery of countless islands nearby.
