Marine World

Very fun place to go see the sea animals. I love the different places you can go to and the exhibits. Me and my wife went to look at the dolphin show and it was so much better than we expected. Lots of fun and we got to see some penguins up close as well. I would recommend this place to many people because it is also family friendly and it's a good place to go to for events or vacation. I will come again next time I come to Fukuoka. Looking at all the attractions and animals took around 3 hours.

-Visited on a Thursday and it was not that crowded
-Beautiful place by the sea
-Short walk from the train station
-Most of the shows only had 1 timing so make sure you plan out your day
-Cafeteria was cool, located next to a giant tank. You can easily order through a ticket machine and pass the ticket to the individual counters to collect the food.
-Small souvenir shop located near the entrance.

Marine World is the aquarium located in Fukuoka. You can reach out this place by train. I use a train and transfer the other train from Hakata. Marine World is located near sea and looks like an island. Many people visit this place with their children. Very good place to visit with children. You can see the dolphin show everyday. Awesome sea animals as well. I highly recommend this place to visit when you visit in Fukuoka, Japan.

Best kids friendly spot in Fukuoka. Only half an hour away from Hakata Station by JR train. Amazing display of local sea life and massive tanks hosting sharks and lots of magnificent animals. Must visit if you are on a family trip.

Very nice aquarium. Not busy at all on the day we visited. Lots of live sea creatures to view. Whales and penguins of course were very fun for the whole family. Nice boardwalk and little park area outside where you can have some lunch or something. Definitely worth visiting if in the area.

A great place to spend the day. Lots of activities that will entertain young and old. The facility is bug too and a great showcase of the local marine life.

It was the best aquarium that I have visit ever.

Compared to 63building South Korea, It is cheaper and there are a lot to see.

Great experience with kids and as a family together. Trainers are friendly and were on time to feed the animals. Dolphin show was epic. It's obvious great care is taken to keep the animals happy and engaged. Restaurant was reasonably prices and there were lines but it kept moving. ~20min wait. It wasn't too bad, especially since you can watch the dolphins swim while you wait. Highly recommended.

Can buy the tickets from online to avoid queuing at the ticket counter.

Very nice aquarium! Must go for the dolphins show! Its a MUST. The dolphins are so well-trained and playful too! After the show is over, you can go to the pool area to have a close-up view of the dolphins. I realized some the dolphins can be very playful as they will purposely splash water onto tourist or children who were playing with them. Kawaii~ Indeed very friendly dolphins!

Can buy some snacks from the food store there. Highly recommend their Takoyaki, melon ice-cream float. You can enjoy all these while watching the Live Show. :)

If you have the chance, do go for their Marine World Restaurant! Whichever you order = NICEEEEE.

Japan aquariums are always good yo add to your itineraries. I highly recommended watching the dolphin show.

It was definitely so much fun. Lots of sea creatures to see. Amusingly beautiful. We even got cooled down in the show when the dolphins started to splash water 😅.

Unexpectedly amazing, one of the best aquarium I’ve been to. The size is just right, with lots of things to see and so many shows. The shows were impressive. The indoor exhibits were super fun and unique too.

The restaurant was fairly priced with very good food and a view of the Dolphins.

This is a must go attraction if you are visiting Fukuoka.

Is a good place to visit with children. The show is great and their restaurant with dolphins pool view.

The show in the main pool is a lot of fun. The staff does a really good job at getting the crowd involved. It also changes based on seasons I am assuming. When we went in the summer they got into the water with the dolphins, but when I went in the fall they didn't. The dolphins instead had different tricks. It was nice that it wasn't the exact same show.

The other smaller shows are very interesting as well. I really enjoyed it overall. My favorite tank is the really large one with the sharks! So peaceful to just sit and watch them.

You can also get really up close and personal with the penguins. Overall, I recommend it.

Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Definite visit if you like acquariums. There's a selection of the undersea fauna around the Fukuoka coast. Most impressive was the massive tank filled with sharks, rays and fishes. You watch it from a dimmed area around the tank with serene, ethereal music. A most excellent experience. The penguins were lots of fun at feeding time.

Not too crowded on weekdays. Even school field trip participated, there were a lot of spaces to chill and enjoy

Excellent aquarium museum! Kids friendly and also disable friendly with lift 🛗 restaurant also good quality and tidy with good view for dining ! Many car park for visitor and very convenient

Very nice aquarium, we were fortunate enough to make it to the penguin show. Weather was great so it made for a wonderful day out.
