Manu Coffee

Manu is my must-go coffee shop in Fukuoka. I particularly like the Daiymo shop because of the vibe and it opens till late.

Espresso is my fav, balanced and smooth. They used to have a huge selection of flavored latte but they have change their menu after covid.

The place can get a bit noisy and crowded but that’s what i like about the place. Staffs are all very nice.

If you are looking for a quiet classy coffee shop do re-consider, maybe not this particular outlet of manu, or else come by and check it out for a good cup of coffee.

I decided to visit this coffee shop based on Google reviews, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Following their menu board's recommendation, I went with the Fujira blend. They serve the coffee in two cups stacked together, which initially seemed like a mistake, but it's actually a clever design to insulate against the heat.

The coffee is excellent, with a slight acidity and a refreshing quality. It appears the beans are roasted to a lighter level, perhaps a medium roast. The staff is welcoming, and even if there's a language barrier, the menu is available in English.

Lastly, I really appreciate the artistic interior and the relaxed background music they have here.

Good coffee, service, and atmosphere. Daily brew is definitely recommended. Americano is on the dark and deeper side. Personally, loved it, but I know it’s not everyone’s preference.
Toast is buttery, sweet, fluffy, and crispy; everything at once.
Also sells drip bags etc. They are great.

Great coffee and ambience. Great chill vibe with lots of art and color. Great place for a chat, studying or work.

Great souvenir and small/medium size amounts of coffee beans and grinds for sale, too.

Decent attempt to have covid-19 countermeasures with plastic dividers between seats and paper cups.

Cool place to contemplate. I love their wall paintings and lightings. Bit annoyed by the cigarette smoke from outside. If someone smokes, better to close the door.

Best coffee I had in Japan, nice cheesecake and atmosphere. Be prepared to pay for this experience, but I highly recommend. Also open till very late, a great place to end a night

Really amazing place that i discovered with my friend out of nowhere. The place is beautiful and close to an art gallery. The coffee is roasted on the spot. Really recommend if you are a coffee lover ! 🙏 And the staff is cute !!!

My favourite cafe in fukuoka!!

Just great vibe. The place is filled with cool art and the music is great. One thing I noticed is the volume is perfect. Not too loud to make it uncomfortable but loud enough to not hear what's being said in the next table.

Tucked away in a small backstreet we found this unique coffee shop, contemporary is definitely the main word I'd use for this business, with the drinks, design and feel. The staff were helpful and respectful. Modern art adorned the walls and the coffee was lovely with a huge selection, but a little expensive, especially considering that good quality coffee is easy to find in japan. But I would return for their uniqueness.

Fine espresso here! Manu is a nice little coffee focused shop with great tasting coffee and a relaxed atmosphere. Many coffee shops in Fukuoka eschew espresso and have a restaurant/diner/bar atmosphere, but Manu Coffee reminds me of the better cafés in Boston and New York. This shop is great. If you are pining for the taste of a ristretto, don't waste your money at the chains.

Such a great cafe! It’s really hidden and secluded, which gives it a unique vibe. The coffee was delicious and everyone was very friendly.
