Kikkoman Soy Sauce Museum

Very fun tour and extremely kind tour guide and staff. We loved the facility and it was so fun to see how our favorite soy sauce is made! It was worth the hour to get here. And the soy sauce ice cream was delicious!

It's a interesting tour if you are a fan of kikkoman or making of things. Me and my husband loved it. 😊🌸

Fun self guided factory tour where you learn both the process of making soy sauce as well as the history of kikkoman soy sauce. Audio guide is available in multiple languages and is easy to follow. At the end of the tour you are given a bottle of soy sauce and there is a gift shop with both practical and souvenir items. There is also a cafe offering fun items like soy sauce flavored soft serve ice cream, crackers that you toast yourself and a soy sauce taste test with tofu. It is a little off the beaten path so you have to make a trip specifically for it, but it is worth it if you have some time.

Weekday is fully booked for guided tour by elementary school group. But you still can enjoy the self guided tour.
After the factory tour, we received free soy sauce and soy tea.
As for Pre-booked tour, will get the special factory “Naani-chan” logo soy sauce bottle.

Good place for "Shoyu" lover.
Show how to manufacture of Soy Bean sauce. Have cafe to make "Sembe"(ข้าวเกรียบ,snack) eat the soy sauce ice cream( very delicious!!! Unbelievable but it's delicious.) you can test all kind of sauce in the cafe. Must booking before.

Learnt how soy source is made. Able to taste all the products which not even can be found in my country. What a great experience. The soy source ice cream is a must try. While waiting for our factory visit, we also visit the museum next door.

I got a very good overview of the process to produce soy sauce in the museum. The Asian cuisine can not bear this ingredient. If you ever interested in the making of soy sauce. Here is a great place! The museum is free. At end, each participant got a small bottle soy sauce as gift.
