I love Aeon malls in Japan and I go out of the way to have the majority of a day in one of these big malls. You can find out the size, the categories and the floor plans from their websites.

What impressed me is how big this Aeon Mall is. It is separated into 4 buildings with a Tesco wholesale centre right smacked in the middle. The themes are Active (Sports), Family, Pets and Grand Mall.

Upon arriving, we made our way to the Grand Mall and that's where we were until evening. That's how big it is.

Our first stop was Aeon Style on the second level. I will check out clothings, shoes and other interesting stuff that I never knew I needed. The third floor houses home furnishing, electronics and stationary while the first floor is a supermarket.

This is perhaps Asia's largest mall, measuring 2 kilometers in length (separate buildings are connected by sky bridges). There is simply no way I could shop this entire mall in a day unless I were just walking through from end to end, but then of course I would become enticed to stop and visit this shop and that shop. At least we got to eat a very nice lunch here and walk through a portion of the mall. This is one of Chiba Prefecture's shining stars, and I understand that people drive from all over the region to shop here. I would. In our case, we bicycled here. I'll be back. I haven't even come close to seeing the whole mall.

We went to Family Mall. This was taken on the late night just after it closed. It is the best mall that I ever come during in Chiba area. Start from the front gate, a lot of baby stroller with many cute characters. On the first floor they have groceries that has smart shopping trolley which can scanning your grocery by yourself. But I didn't try it yet, so can not describe more about it. Then on the 3rd Floor there is restaurant family friendly close to playground. It was designed very cute to attract many kids to come to that area. And has free playground for children up to 3 years old which has simple but nice design. Have some embedded toys for motorics activity. Outside they have open garden with man-made hill which usually used by kids during the day. Basically this mall is convenient when coming with family.
For Muslim, they have prayer room that can be accessed by calling the intercom outside and just said that you want to pray. Then just below prayer room, they provide Muslim friendly salon. So for ladies, you can cut your hair here without worried to be seen by man staff or visitor.

The biggest mall I’ve ever been to. It was seriously overwhelming as to how many retail stores and floor levels this place has. When I visit the Tokyo area again, I plan coming here again, especially since it’ll easily take you a whole day to explore and shop at every nook and cranny here.

Great big shopping mall, spacious and many to see just that I had little time so did a quick browse. It is made up of 4 blocks, main shopping mall, pets mall, childrens mall and a sports mall so need to do quite alot of walking.

It is a gigantic, fun shopping mall/entertainment center to shop. Be prepared that it could take up to 15 minutes to walk to the Makuhari station.

The mall is enormous, offering a plethora of activities. I highly recommend it! However, it's important to note that most of the personnel there don't speak English. While I did get lucky a few times and found someone who spoke English well, it's not something you can count on. So, make sure to have your Google Translate handy – you might need it more often than you think! On a positive note, even though the language barrier can be challenging, the personnel is generally friendly and helpful, making the experience more pleasant overall.

Even during covid this mall's prayer space is available. Some department stores in Ginza closed prayer spaces but here, they are open for use. 6 hours of free parking if you bring a car. Free buses are available that connects to other Aeon locations but till 4:30pm and only on weekdays. Be sure to check the time table.
There is a muslima friendly beauty parlor on the 3rd floor where you can get a hair cut by a female staff in a private room.
This mall is also close to the sakura park. Walking distance.

This is the biggest mall in Japan. There are 5 separate buildings, one o f which is a Pet Mall. The is a giant Costco connected to the mall. It is pretty easy to get to. There's a 100 yen bus to and from Kaihin Makuhari station, but you can also walk for around 20 minutes. The mall is so huge that you would need an entire day to go through it competently. Nice shops but mainly Japanese brands. Equally huge food court and again mostly Japanese food.

You can find here almost everything you need. Sometimes they offer wholesale with comparatively cheaper price. Big shopping mall with parking space.

One of my favorite AEON mall, lots of places to visit with each building having their own shop theme.

Also, definitely visit their food court while you’re here. They have a great selection for food!
My favorites are the Korean ginseng chicken soup and the famous Japanese ramen.

Oh and after all the shopping and dining spree, I would recommend you to find the latest massage chair installed inside the mall.

It’s just a few hundreds yen but the quality of massage you can get is definitely worth way more than those coins. The massage chair is designed to make you feel like you’re floating on a water while being massaged. Definitely a must try!

And once you’re bored with AEON mall, they also have costco next door and also you can ride taxi or bus to a nearby bath house 湯楽の里(yura no sato)

So huge!! You had better come with shuttle bus or wait until another train exit is built.
A very fine place for shopping, both for local and global people.
