Shimizu Park

Very nice and beautiful place. It has a great variety of flowers and different garden styles. It's not that huge place yet it's very amazing and enjoyable.
There is also a small greenhouse, next to the flower garden.
There are many attractions with in the garden, in addition to an athletic ground for school athletic day. It includes a camping area also.
The park itself is free of admission fees but there an admission fee of 500 yen to the flower garden.

The origin of plum blossom viewing in Japan, I read. It's nice to visit even in winter. There's a lot to do for kids! But it's nice to stroll around for the elderly as well.

This was a really fun experience and I definitely enjoyed myself. You start by thinking that the Obstacle courses are easy but they are a challenge and it was worth the time there. Plus we had a very pretty Hanami and enjoyed some good food.

It's huge and beautiful. Flowers are everywhere. People come here a lot. It's crowded but not full to it's capacity. There are still a lot of space for many more people. Great place for picnic, groups or family camp. BBQ place available. Lovely green.

Huge park with track and field activities for all ages. The best part is the one over water!

Recently they finished updating the park, pleasant place for bbq, date, or take ur kids to play.

Such a fun time for everyone, both kids and adults. They have a challenging course and a course for everyone. In the summer, the line for the water course means long waits, but it's still worth it. Unfortunately, maybe 6 obstacles of the 100 were closed for either repairs, renovation, out because of COVID-19 while we were there. Still, that's pretty good out of a total of 100 obstacles.

Very fun place to bring your kids, there are many different activities to play there!

We were looking for parks to see the cherry blossoms and found this one. We had the best time here since the park was full of cherry blossom trees. Even the road that leads up to the park is lined up with Sakura trees on both sides. One must visit here during Sakura season!

More than 100 different games available for kids with age between 3-10 yrs

I visited this place in winter time, i can only guess how crowded this place is going to be during summer time! They have a lot of activities for kids to do here, fishing, athletic tracks just to name a few. If you're around in the area during summer, you have to visit this park!

The Field Athletics area is super fun! Bring a spare set of loose clothes because the obstacles can be quite difficult & you could end up getting a dip in the pond... Especially in the water section.

I usually come to bbq, but there's a wide variety of activities for all ages. I would recommend bringing kids here for a day of fun, there's an athletic course, pool and various playgrounds.

You can enjoy very much.
There is a lot of people.
Everyone can enjoy!!!
But you should bring another clothes to wear.

Good park, with beautiful nuture

Great camping base for the family with kids, there are many activities for kids enjoy, and each site is big enough for the 2 rooms tent plus tarp.

This is a big park, there is a beautiful temple, and also lots of fun activities including a huge obstacle course and trout fishing, one could easily spend a whole day here.

Beautiful park specially in the spring. The peace in the evening if you want some alone time is unmatched.

It is a large land with beautiful temples and many flowers. There are restaurants and cute souvenirs.
