Crab Dining Kanon

Amazing food!! The hair crab was cooked and open, so very easy to eat. Wagyu just melted in my mouth. We ordered uni on top of the regular set menu which was really the best uni i have had for at least past 3 years. Highly recommend!

This is a must visit while in Hirafu although reservations have to be made well in advance during peak season. The hairy crab is meticulously prepared and presented making it much easier to enjoy. The king crab leg was grilled to perfection. The snow crab hotpot really hit the spot on a cold winter day. While the price has gone up over the years, this is one of the few places left in hirafu that offers decent value for the quality of food. Highly recommended!

First time trying this restaurant despite visiting Niseko many times. Great food (especially the crab) and service. Must make reservation in advance otherwise probably wont have a table (peak ski season).

Absolutely delicious crab and Kobe beef set menu. The food is amazing, service is great, perfect for a special occasion. Would highly recommend!

Our first stop each time on our annual snowboarding trip here in niseko! The crabs are exceptionally fresh, served both cold & hot, grilled and in a broth. Service is impeccable as well. Ensure you make reservations ahead of time!

Such an unique experience, gracious service, and great deal! Hairy crab goes for 10,000yen+ around here, king crab about 40,000 each, and wagyu about 50,000. You get a whole hairy crab pre-split, one king crab leg, snow crabs in hot pot, wagyu, and appetizers and dessert all served course after course for 11,500 (don’t remember exact price). Reservations are a must, and must be made online. They’re usually booked full days in advance. If you walk in try coming in around 7:30pm to see if anyone finished early. They close at 9pm so if you get in then you will need to eat fast as there are a lot of courses. They were so kind to seat us at the last seating and we had a wonderful time.

A great spot for crab lovers in Grand Hirafu village. Seating is limited and it's a very popular restaurant so you will need to book at least one month in advance (maybe even more during peak season). You'll enjoy three kinds of crab cooked three ways: 1) Chilled hairy crab with, 2) Snow crab hot pot, 3) Grilled king crab. There's also a yummy crab gratin to finish. You'll be paying resort town prices but we came here as a group and absolutely loved the whole experience!

Very nice n cozy restaurant for Hokkaido crabs and beef Shabu. Friendly staff and good service. A good place to chill out !

Great crab dinner with warm service! It's opened only 3 hours a day (6:30-9:30pm)
Crab Hotpot & grilled king crab leg were so delicious... also can order Hokkaido sirloin beef for hotpot !

I hardly ever rate restaurants with 5 stars as it is hard to achieve value, service, quality and good taste all for 6000 JPY. Merry X'Mas to all.

Delicious crab we come here every year. A bit pricey but same goes to all shops in Niseko.

A very new, interesting, and delicious experience! I think it's important to note that the courses here are degustations, so for new crab eaters, don't be insulted if the servers ask you to eat in a particular way - it's part of what you pay for 😅

We had the special crab combo course and it was amazing. As a novice crab eater, I probably did not appreciate the variety of crab dishes as much as a crab lover, but I can say that I did very much appreciate the crab hot pot and sashimi, which I thought were welcome intermissions to the numerous "just crab" dishes we had 😂
