IKEA Tachikawa

Great that IKEA has delivery service of our bought furnitures & fixtures! We like their easy-to-assemble table set.

Typical Ikea. The restaurant gets busy during the weekend, and it's not bad at all. There's an hourly drop-off play area that looks nice on the 1st floor for 4 year olds and up. Bathrooms are clean, and there's a nursing room with a bottle station. It's very convenient for families.

Great place with a wide selection of products for your home including things for remodeling. It can get a little busy because Tachikawa is always busy! Membership is free and that entitles you to benefits such a shopping loan. If you’re looking for good quality stuff at a great price check it out. The food court is also great!

IKEA is a famous supermarket for furniture and home accessories which are very well-designed and affordable. It takes around 10 minutes walking from Tachikawa station. This is a giant place where you can almost find everything for your home decoration. Near this supermarket there is a famous park called Showa kinen koen. This part is amazingly awesome in autumn. When you are around this area, please give a walk around to enjoy the great atmosphere.

According to my Swedish friend who I came here with, Japan’s IKEA is so much like those in Sweden that it was a bit weird to have that same feel as though he was actually back home. We spent a couple of hours just going through the stuff. Good shopping and the prices are just about as much as they would cost back in Sweden too.

The pickup system is a little different at this Ikea than the ones in the states. If your tags look like this, you will not be able to get the boxes yourself. Take the item numbers of the things you want to the customer service kiosk before the checkout, and they will check inventory and give you a receipt to bring use for the purchase. Next you wait your turn at the furniture pickup section, until they call your order number.

They moved some stuff around and like always they are changing their inventory. I was pricing desks and the deal is to build it.

A great place where you can buy durable and beautiful household items. their parking lot is also big, and their food in the food court is also delicious, especially the ice cream and hotdog 👍👍 but their drink bar doesn't taste like that

It’s about 10 minutes walk from Tachikawa station. Nice restaurant inside.

Low price and many to buy low price food and free parking lot if you buy something just bring the recipe

Best place for furniture shopping in Tokyo, Saitama, and Kanagawa combined.
Cheapest prices ever with a very wide variety of stuff.
It also has a nice (4/5) restaurant with a 120$ Soft Drink Bar (self service)

Went mostly for the food court. They have a new flavor of 50 yen ice cream for sale every couple of weeks or so. Would reccomend.

Great place to shop and look around they even allow you to sit down and take a break.

Not many people in the store.
Strongly recommended to go there on weekdays.

I have always loved IKEA. Good service helpful staff. It is impressively clean even on crowded days. The parking is not free. You have to either purchase something or eat at the restaurant otherwise you have to pay 1000ten parking free (regardless of time spent in store). So grab something, even a 100 yen coaster would do.

IKEA is always a pleasant surprise. This was a scouting trip, yet we still picked up a bunch of stuff. Food was great and all the staff were super helpful. Planning another visit!

It's an IKEA decent food and decent prices. Cheapest soft serve around. However the coffee I bought was awful. It's worst medium roast grind coffee I have ever bought.

Big shopping place with a variety modernized solutions for what you need at home ,many have reasonable prices, it has also a playground for 4 years old kids and above (its like a nursery but you need to come early and make a reservation, anyway, kids can stay there for a short period). It also has a restaurant with delicious meals, cakes and beverages. It's Awesome.

Immaculate and well laid out store. Relatively new. Nice cafeteria with shows playing for kids. Accepts credit cards. Be sure to buy something and save your receipt, otherwise you'll have to pay 1,000 yen in parking upon exit.
