Seibuen Amusement Park

Kids wanna check out the 銭天堂 event and they enjoyed it.
The main entrance is the only place that has a shaded area. The pool side was not opened yet because the summer break has not started.
It was fun showing kids a lot of retro games that we used to play. Overall it was pretty good but the weather was way too hot. Need to bring lots sunscreens and water.

Came here just for Godzilla and it was totally worth the trip to Saitama. We arrived at 4 and the tickets were half off so that was nice. Keep in mind some rides were closing soon after 4 so if you plan to go on everything, plan to come earlier than that as there was a long line for Godzilla.

I visited Seibuen in late July on a Thursday with a group of friends. After reading some other reviews I was a little worried, but we had an amazing time! The staff were so nice and made us feel welcome by speaking to us in English or simple Japanese. Some tips:
1) Go on a weekday if possible. We didn't have to wait for any of the rides or water slides, it was great.
2) Make sure to attend the Boogie Woogie Festival at noon in the little town. The dancers/actors are phenomenal. You can find the show times under エンターテインメントショーon the website.
3) The pool area and park have different opening/closing times. These change often so it's best to check the website section 営業時間.
4) You will not be allowed in the park if you have a visible tattoo. One of our party had a small tattoo so they simply hid it with clothing. You can even wear a shirt in the pool.
5) The park area forces you to use their 'monopoly money'. But you can use regular yen at some vending machines and in the pool area where there are food trucks.
6) In the pool area there is almost no shade so it is best to bring a tent. You should also bring your own floaties for the pool/lazy river. You can buy some at the park but it's very expensive. There are beach-style showers and a changeroom.

Great park loved it. Great rides but long lines.
Your tattoo rule l seriously stupid.
It's the reason for the many negative reviews.
I have zero tattoos so I don't care.. But seriously you're not a sento.
More food choices would have been great as 60 mins to get lunch was a little frustrating. The Godzilla ride was awesome but 90 mins lines were crazy.
More hot dogs and finger food needed.
Staff were great but I felt they needed more to manage the crowds.
Sumner would be great here as many of the rides mainly the park are geared for water rides. Buy the express pass if going on weekend. Will save you lining up for hours.

The park is pretty simple but the street based in the showa era is a lot of fun. Definitely recommend the Godzilla ride. The limited ticket is not necessary if you wait til after 6pm to ride it

Great amusement park which gave you an unforgettable experience.

There were 30 mins fireworks and we liked it very much. Very close and not crowded. everyone found a place to sit and watch. Other than that temp was 37 degrees Celsius and we were sweating buckets. Luckily there were drink shops nearby and clean toilets.
