Booked online direct so no waits at the Aquazoo for tickets! Great Aquarium/Zoo/Museum - worth the trip!

Went on a week day and was not crowded

My son loves aquariums and we were looking for kid-friendly places to go in Osaka. This place was amazing--we really enjoyed our time here. The exhibits are well done and we loved the aquatic life on display. I have mixed feelings about the tiger which was pacing above the food court area.

Overall this place felt modern and engaging and we had a great experience. One surprise was a light/music display room--we just sat and relaxed for some time. It was very calming and my kids loved it. We showed up early and didn't have a wait.

Nifrel is worth your visit if you are heading to Expo 70.
I came for the white tiger but in the end I got absorbed by the wonderful variety of animals they have.
The white tiger was sleeping when I arrived, decided to have lunch while waiting. Had the Aligator curry and it was delicious, which I highly recommend trying. It finally got up after 2hrs, and it was worth it with all the cute shots it was posing for us.
Overall a fun and enriching experience. Will come again next time!

Looking for a family-friendly activity that's both fun and educational? Look no further than the small aquarium next to the shopping mall. With its unique fish and free-flying birds, you'll be entertained for hours on end. And if you're looking for something to do after the aquarium, the Expo Commemoration Park is right next door. So come on down and have a blast

This facility was founded and operated by Osaka Kaiyukan, the world's largest aquarium, so the interior is very similar to that, but with smaller scale, leading to no whale sharks. In exchange, it is possible to interact with animals such as birds and monkeys without shielding. Here, it should be noted that there are personnel in charge to prevent danger, but parents of small children need to be careful not to let them come into contact with animals carelessly, remember the object is wild animals! It is hoped that no accident will occur. Photographers will play enough there but with partially some too dark area inside.
There is no problem with drinks and food at the convenience store. Of course there are also a toilets, wheelchair users acceptable.

This is really a nice place to visit.
The size of the aquarium is not big, so
even elementary school kids or kindergarten kids can also enjoy themselves.
In the middle of the route there is a big earth ball and you can enjoy fantastic show.
One of the concept of this facility is to feel and touch animals, and last area you will be able to know what this means.
You will see cute birds, penguins and so on just in front of you!

Such a unique and modern aquarium. I loved the themed rooms (color, shapes, camouflage, etc). It made going to the aquarium feel different. I also enjoyed how close you can get to the animals. Penguins, lemurs, and peacocks were less than an arms length away. They also have a light installation that was beautifully made. You can experience it from the ground and second floor, providing a different perspective. I would recommend visiting, especially if you have kids or like taking pictures for Instagram.

The reason I give this place a 5-star tag is the distance between human and animals are super close! Hardly find a place where you almost can touch(but cannot as it's against the rule of Eifrel as the same with others aquarium anyway#!@?). So it is an open area with a small and fun aquarium. Oh! Another good stuff is the white tiger!! U gotta see when they feed the white tiger. Very exciting to see! Check out some pics and make sure u visit the place :)

It's very great to visit here. The colorful light and ambient sound are very perfect. And also all of the animals display end show are well design and very good.

This is truly one of the better experiences that allows consumers to interact with selected wildlife in a controlled environment here at Lalaport Expo Park.

The line was just too long on Sunday, and I need to come back again next time. But I am very impressed with the overall place.

It is amazing place for both adults & kids. There is a variety of wonderful fishes, animals specially monkeys which move around you. There is also a luminous globe, and the children enjoyed a lot playing under it.

I have visited many aquariums before but this one really impressed me. All kinds of underwater creatures, the birds roamed free in their area, there were areas for kids to play and interact. There was a 5 minute video on animals and nature and the need to be mindful of the world we live in that was very compelling.

Very good for young children. My son is 1.8 yrs he is very happy. Small but nice. We parked our troller at the entrace and my son could walk around by himself and enjoy a lot. Not so crowded. Children can see fish, begal tiger, crocodiles, hippoes, penguins, tulcans and birds closely. We had a great time there.

Very fun and doesn't take too long to go through. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the last section where the animals free roamed. It was so relaxing!

Small and compact but highly recommended aquarium, filled with wit and tricks to make you witness the habit and special tricks the water creatures can do. It also has an indoor zoo area where you can meet several species of birds such as burrowing owl.

Nifrel is the must for people who love nature. They have a lot of animal diversity and also provide the “open” zoo that you could able to feel touch with animals (not just close glass). This zoo museum is not too far from the central Osaka which I recommend you to visit especially if you bring the kids. They will be your good experience for sure.

A reimagined take on an aquarium/zoo, where all manner of strange and uncommon animals (e.g., four-eyed fish) are exhibited according to their physical forms and colours. If you like weird fish, this one is for you. Also, much less crowded than the main aquarium in Ōsaka!
