Really like this park. Easy access directly from the exit of the metro station. This EXPO park is lovely, so beautiful flower gardens 💐🌹, the ponds area is very peaceful to sit at and relax. There is even a little hidden café that's very cozy, as well as vending machines available. The mill area with the flowers also is so beautiful. It's definitely a great idea to have a promenade & it to visit this park 🏞

Park in Osaka during cherry blossom season is simply breathtaking! The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, creating a stunning sight that mesmerizes all visitors. It's the perfect spot for a picnic while admiring the beauty of the blossoms. The atmosphere is serene and inviting, offering a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Whether you're strolling along the pathways or lounging under the cherry trees, every moment spent here is magical. I highly recommend bringing along some snacks and drinks for a memorable picnic experience surrounded by the enchanting cherry blossoms. A visit to Park during sakura season is an absolute must, and I can't wait to return!

Huge public park with many flower fields, walking paths (there's even one among the tree crowns), playgrounds and several museums.
It's the site of EXPO 70, and there's an EXPO museum inside which I definitely recommend to visit - the territory used to look completely different and incredible during the Expo, even by today's standards.
Unfortunately you can't enter with a bicycle (I recommend parking it next to the nearby Ferris wheel 🎡), bit there's a car parking inside, or you can get there by Osaka Monorail, which is a treat of it's own.

I'm glad that the hydrangeas were in bloom. It's a spacious place where couples, friends, families and children can spend their holidays. I hope everyone enjoys sightseeing. Thank you.

Huge park and absolutely gorgeous place. We had a small picnic on the green Meadows inside the park. The day was bright and picture perfect.

Feels like a time capsule but is well maintained with decent facilities and lighting of the sakura. We came at a less than ideal time - overcast and late evening time, but still managed to some amazing photos of the sakura.

Definitely worth the trip from Namba. the place
is expansive, many areas to explore and enjoy We enjoyed walking but you can also choose a spot to stay and chill. We went here sakura season (not yet fully bloomed), on weekend. lots of families and groups came to enjoy the park but there is enough space for everyone.

We went there on 5 April 2024. It was about 45 minutes from Namba station.
There are many people picnic under beautiful Sakura 🌸. Parks closes at 5pm
Next to the park there is also an outlet and nice resto.

This park offers something for everyone. From flower gardens to Japanese gardens, cafes, events and even museums. It’s a beautiful place to visit, I go there often when I get the chance because it’s so big you will always have a new place to visit.

Wonderful park which seems to be quite heavily used for many years since the expo in 1970 but still being maintained quite well. Play areas have great equipment for kids but definitely needs a little TLC.

If you have a bit of time it's worth checking out the sun tower museum which lets you climb up the inside of the famous landmark

This park worth every penny. It costs only 260 yen and it was huge enough for you to spend your time here. You can come here every season as there are different kind of flowers for you to see and photo taking with.

A very good place for family to unwind and enjoy the nature. A shopping mall is also nearby so it's very convenient to dine and shop

This was one of the best parks I visited on my trip to Japan. If you're staying in Osaka, this is the place to go!
There is a cost to get in at the front gate - you can pay on the day using their ticket booths. You can also pay to do other activities once in the park.
I visited on a weekday during the summer, and it was very, very quiet. We used the paddle boats for 20 minutes for 1000 yen for two people.
You could spend all day here, especially on the left side of the park, where all the nature is.
Beautiful waterways and viewing areas!
I would recommend visiting in Autumn or Spring, so you can visit the Cherry Blossom and Flower Hill areas, which were underwhelming, being in summer. My favourite park of the park was the tree climb walkway, where you could walk along the tops of trees and eventually come across a large viewing platform.

Truly one of the most beautiful parks I've visited in Osaka. This is my 2nd visit here in 8 years, and the place looks as Beaufort as ever. Last time, I visited during autumn and this time in Aug 2023 for the summer.

The park is huge and takes about two hours minimum to walk one complete circle. There's facilities like cafes and washrooms around the main park area near the ponds. The main entrance is where you can see the unique and odd tower structure.

A wonderful park can spent your time all days with your family, loves the environment, Japanese garden culture area, maple leaves and the cute tower of sun.

Nice garden, and there are lots of different flowers and attractions. It is relatively cheap. 300 yen per person. The sun statue is the main exhibit, but there are many activities. There is a little theme park for young kids. There is a picnic area for families.

Fantastic park which is a memorial from the expo in 1970. Loads to see and do with shopping and sports nearby.
