Tokyu Rei Hotel Nagano

The location is the best, right next to the station. Also the rooms are nice as well as the room service which has an eco option. The laundry service works perfectly and the service overall is good. The restaurant at the entrance of the hotel is very nice as well.

Great location, close by Nagano station, friendly staff and very supportive. I stayed in weekdays so the hotel is very quiet, not busy.

The hotel lobby was on the fourth floor and had nice amenities as well as laundromat. Shame we couldn’t try the breakfast as it looked great but definitely will come back next time.

I stayed in this hotel for one night stopover after coming back from Hakuba Valley. This hotel is located in a prime location right next to Nagano JR station and Shinkansen. The hotel is very modern and clean. You can't find a fault with its hardware. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. We were able to checkin very quickly. Buffet breakfast is also in good quality. Room is a bit small but they were very clean and modern. The advantages of this hotel is location, location and location. With its affordable rate, you can't go wrong if you look for something for overnight stay.

Excellent cost-efficiency. Rooms were simple and not that large, but did the job perfectly. Great location, as the hotel was across the street from Nagano station. A convenience store can be found just outside the front door.

I was only planning on staying one night, and ended up staying two with how much I loved this area/hotel. Right outside Nagano station, it was extremely convenient to get to. The customer service was phenomenal, very kind, and willing to work with me not being able to speak much Japanese. They have someone push an elevator button for you a majority of the time, and I only paid 70-85$ for a room! They had a laundry facility that took yen, which was extremely helpful being that I've been to 6 other hotels across northern Japan, and for this price range, only one other hotel had that option available. The room was perfect for me, being a solo traveler, but two people would be more than comfortable in the room I got. I could see the mountains from my window, and everything was very clean. Very satisfied with my stay, and absolutely adored the area. Would 100% come back :)

Stayed for 3 Nights in February, hotel is a short walk across JR nagano station and is connected via B2 if there is bad weather.

Donki just beside it and connivence stores are a stones throw away.
Room was compact but comfortable, views of station and mountain from afar.
Breakfast was good, the choices were plentiful and generous.
Check In/out was a breeze.

Would stay here again if based in Nagano

Literally right beside Nagano station. There are a lot of small shops around and a Donki shop beside it. Rooms were good, but smoking rooms have a bit of smoke scent left in the room. Not too much of a bother. Food was really good as well for breakfast.

The beds here are amazingly comfortable!
There's a direct lift from the train station to the hotel which is convenient given the hotel is right in the center of town next to the train station making it perfect for travel and transit.

Close to the station, plenty of room compared to other hotels and very clean. Had a pleasant stay!

Awesome, relaxing hotel! During typhoon Haggis, we stayed here when our hostel didn’t work out (no trains working). This hotel provided us with a warm bed, a nice view and lots of convenient things to do in between!

Because of its proximity to Nagano station, we were able to save a lot of time in addition to the convenience of it all! Highly recommend this hotel!

Very convenience as it's located at the exit of the Nagano JR station, everything of this hotel looked new (I don't know when was it opened though). Fantastic room cleanliness, even though the laundry machine area was looked fantastic clean. Doesn't like others chain hotel, the washing machine needed to pay though however the price was low.

The only not-so-good thing is, the car park is quite far away (5 minutes walk) and expensive.

In general this is an excellent hotel with its competitive room rate.

Small but very clean and neatly designed room. Excellent value for price. Can’t beat the location immediately across the street from Nagano station.

Location is great -- right across the street from the train station, making it central to lots of dining and shopping, as well. Coolest feature of the room is the smartphone, which you can take with you during your stay for maps and such.

Small but comfortable and very new. Clean and just opposite the train station. Walking distance to Don Quijote, Tokyu Hands, Muji and Mister Donut! Front Desk who speaks English and laundry room. Will be back again

A well priced hotel considering their service and cleanliness. Hotel is also very new in relation to others around. Took care of a food poisoned friend by recommending a nearby pharmacy, receptionist then came with us to pharmacy and ordered for us. Exceptional service earned the 5th star.
