Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nagano-Zenkojiguchi

The hotel accommodations are comfortable, the staff is polite and professional, and the breakfast is tasty. The only complaint I have is that it was hard to find. The hotel lobby is on the fifth floor and there's only a small sign outside saying Fresa Inn with small print saying Sotetsu. You enter the door next to a Lawson store and a sign inside directs you to an elevator. Google maps was not helpful.

Location is very great, exactly at Nagano station and just above Donki. Check in process was smooth and staff was friendly. They let us keep luggage at check in.

Room was small but clean and new (unlike most old business hotel). Bed is good

Overall is good value as it was less than £50 a day.

Stayed for 1 night as I had taken a day trip to Nagano. Check in and out was smooth and amenities had everything you need for a short stay. If you plan to take the buses to travel around Nagano fret not, as the hotel is located next to the Bus interchange. If you are In need of some essential Donkihote is just around the corner. Would definitely recommend for the ideal location and amenities that are definitely worth your money.

The rooms are fairly small but there is space to put down luggage and still walk about. The staff were friendly and helpful at check in (I'm not sure if you were meant to use the machine alone or not). Breakfast had a mix of more Japanese style foods and western foods, so it should suit a lot of people.

The rooms were modern and clean, and there were two pillows, one harder and one a bit softer. It is in a good location close to Nagano Station. There are also laundry facilities on the 8th floor, although fairly small. I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again next time I am in Nagano.

Absolutely the best business hotel in the area, considerably new and fresh. Don’t look further, just book this one lol.

Nagano hotels were mostly built during the 1998 olympics, so many of them are old. I don’t really care when it’s old but it’s a different story when it’s stuffy and the bed quality is bad.
This hotel ticks all that you need.
Good price, good location, clean room, good quality bed, good pillows, air purifier and humidifier inside the room, aircon/ heat pump , can open the windows for fresh air, great service and breakfasts.
Laundry, ice machine, microwave, toiletries in the common area.

The only thing is that their check in machine is so high tech that it’s hard to use, it’s faster to just let the attendant check you in.

The breakfast was just ok. Not bad not amazing.

The staff were very friendly, they also help keeping luggage before/ after check-in. Definitely recommend.

Very close to Nagano station surrounded by convenient stores and restaurants. Superior twin room is big and bed is comfortable. There are various amenities from basic like toothbrush to special facial cleanser, lotion, sunscreen. All staff are very nice and always eager to help.

Good location. Rooms are clean and the size of a one person room is pretty good for the price. I will definitely book again the next time I come to visit Nagano. You cannot access the hotel's guest area without a room key.

Upon opening after covid, was surprised that the hotel is super clean and new. Room is spacious room. Friendly service. Just pick whatever toiletries you need at lobby to reduce wastage.

Great location across from Nagano Station, in building with shops and connected sky walk to station. Close to many unique shops and restaurants. Lawson Convenience store on ground level for snacks. Professional staff. Nice complementary personal amenities selection in lobby. Excellent price value. Highly recommended adding breakfast, very many options, nice window views from seats on wall.

Easy check in and out. Able to hold our luggage before and after. Respectful and courteous staff. Close to Nagano station. Room a great size for two.

This was the Hotel Sunroute when we stayed in February 2019, and we really liked it. Very clean, great location (3 min walk to Nagano Station), great staff, walking distance to good restaurants. The breakfast buffet was about average. Laundry on 8th floor was very convenient. We had top floor and excellent view and room large enough for us and our 2 young boys. Would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is close to the station, you can also avoid the street and get directly to the hotel via the bridge which links the station to Don Quijote, then proceed on the right until you find the hotel access. There is a Lawson convenience store at ground floor and a karaoke in the same building. The room was clean and tidy, the staff very helpful and kind. We'd surely come back again.

Great little hotel to stay at. Very clean and great amenities. The staff was very kind and the room very clean. I would definitely stay here again as it's close to public transportation and many great restaurants.

Since it was cozy, it was nice room to stay as well. Room was well equipped. I want to remark that they provide very nice breakfast even though COVID situation (please note I tried only Japanese cuisine). I do want to stay in the future again.

Basic room with everything you will need for a short stay. 2 mins walk to Nagano station. Restaurant and convenience store mins away. No complain from me.
