It's the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at during my journey in Japan. Right across from the JR station. The hot spring is fantastic, and the bathing amenities provided in the communal bath are thoughtful. They even have massage chairs. They also offer free ramen in the evening. On the first floor, there are unlimited complimentary drinks. Highly recommended

This hotel is amazing. The rooms are simple and a little small, but the amenities are wonderful. The onsen on the roof is amazing and also has massage chairs available, there is free ramen and ice cream at night, and the breakfast has a great range of delicious Western and Japanese options. The location is right next to the train station but my room was very quiet.

I stayed 4 nights while travelling around Nagano prefecture.

Location is unbeatable. 3 min walk from Nagano Stn. Lots of food options and 7-11 just beside. Hotel is modern and nicely furnished. The bed and room is small for 2 people though. The hotel is located near big streets so it feels OK to walk back at night.

Onsen was enjoyable - about 12 shower stalls and 3 onsen pools with 1 outdoor. Has moisturiser and face wash! Big and spacious. Used the onsen every night.

Staff was helpful and attentive. There is free washing machine use with dryer for 100¥. Free coffee, water, ice, ramen at night and yakult drink.

Location, Service & Rates, this place checks all three boxes. Short steps to Nagano JR Station, 7-eleven next door so you can buy refreshments and snacks for those midnight cravings (room includes mini-fridge), amazing service from staff, room size equivalent to Japan standards, GREAT amenities (specially the one located in the amenity floor, you'll thank me later). If you're a jogger/runner, you can run for miles on the Susobana River Trail. I highly recommend this Hotel.

Had a nice stay here for one night. Good price, room was small but well spaced out and everything was fairly new. Close to Nagano station so no complaints at all

Room is small for family but can’t expect much for this price. Chose this for proximity to Nagano station about just 200m. Free ramen supper, probiotics drink and ice cream. Take note the onsen fees are payable upon check-in regardless whether you are using it or not. A bit strange to have the coin laundry inside the onsen changing area. Staff is extremely helpful and nice. Right besides a convenience store and a starbucks. Plenty of amenities around the hotel.

Literally a perfect stay. Can't believe this place is real. Rattling off a couple highlights:

- amazing perfect location right across from Nagano Station
- free ramen after 9:30pm
- free ice cream
- free hot bath spa
- free massage chairs
- fresh apple juice and coffee in lobby
- very comfortable, clean, new rooms
- right next to conbini and dept store and restaurants
- easy and beautiful 30 min walk up the street towards the temple district to the north
- free laundry machines?!
- not expensive rate for a room!

Yeah, I loved Nagano a whole lot. And when I come back, I will 100% be staying here. Not a single negative point I can offer about this place. Loved my stay, couldn't be happier, very much looking forward to coming back to Nagano again.

Excellent location, 2-3mins walk from Nagano station. 7 Eleven right next door and Starbucks across from the hotel with plenty of excellent Izakaya and restaurants a stone’s throw away. Complimentary apple juice and coffee on ground floor. Indoor and outdoor onsen on Level 11 was superb - complimentary Yakult available in the morning and ice cream at night. Laundry was also quick and efficient, 30min with detergent included and at no cost either! 200-300 yen to use the dryer after. Great sized rooms and amenities, friendly staff despite limited English.

Excellent choice in Nagano.

Located very close to Nagano station it is a convenient hotel to spend the night in Nagano. We visited Togakushi shrine during the day and due to heavy rain showers we were forced to head back to Nagano and spontaneously booked a night at this hotel. The hotel is quite modern, offers spacious rooms for Japanese standards. The highlight is the hot spring which is opened overnight and offers, one indoor and outdoor pool, a cold bath, sauna, and massage chairs. Late night ramen is also offered, ice cream at the hot spring, and yakult in the morning.

Stayed in so many hotels on my 3 week trip to Japan and this one was a favorite. The location is really good, near the station, convenience store, and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff lovely, and the Onsen was so beautiful and relaxing. Also the welcome pudding is sooo good! 5/5 will visit again :)

Dormy Inn hotels is always my go to choice because I always have a very good experience while I’m staying there. Dormy inn’s interior is always different from other hotels, it is a very modern design. Rooms and surroundings are extremely well kept and clean. Really love their in house onsen, you can get free ice cream after taking a bath. Staff are always friendly and professional. You receive a free pudding as a welcome gift. There is also free ramen for supper and coffee machine whenever you wish to get a drink. Laundry is also free but dryer cost 100 yen for 20 mins. Only downside is their breakfast spread is not that fantastic, other than that super awesome!

The hotel is located really close to Nagano station! The rooms were clean and larger than I expected. We also loved the onsens on the 11th floor.

They also give you a ton of free food and drinks. Ice cream by the onsen, noodles from 21:00 - 23:00, and a pudding in the fridge. There’s also coffee and apple juice in the lobby.

The onsen is one of the best I've been in Nagano, it has a Sauna with television (if that's your thing), ice bath, indoor and outdoor baths. Showers are awesome and a variety of ice creams for when you finish. The massage chairs are also a very welcome facility. Breakfast buffet was delicious as well as the free late night ramen. Overall the best hotel for the price I've ever stayed at. Looking forward to trying the rest of their hotels. Well done Dormy Inn.

Highly recommend the hot spring inside the Hotel! Sadly we only stayed two nights at the Dormy Inn, because it was so relaxing and comfortable. The hot spring facilities on the top floor of the hotel were perfect for starting the day super early and relaxing after a long day exploring Nagano. The location of the hotel is also perfect for day trips because the train station is just around the corner. Overall one of the best hotels we stayed in on our trip to Japan regarding comfort and price.

Comfy inn with nice environment. You can use the hot spring, sauna and washing machine for free. Drying machine only costs 100 yen for 20 minutes. They also provides yummy ramen during the night time and free drinks for free.

Security is good as you need your personal password to enter the hot spring area. You can read the comic books outdise the spa while waiting for the laundry or need a rest after the hot spring.

Location is perfect as its very close to the train station.

I have a love relationship with Dormy Inn. Whenever possible, I would choose this chain for its consistency and comforts - onsen, great breakfast buffet, free ramen supper and all the lovely smelling toiletries and bath products. Dormy Inn Nagano is no different and it has a hot drink dispenser at the lobby which is really handy for the freezing winter in Nagano. This particular hotel is located on a pedestrian only street with lots of food outlets and shopping arcades. Being 50 m across from JR Nagano train station is certainly a big bonus. Starbucks and 7 Eleven are just outside and adjacent to the hotel entrance.

It was my first time staying in the Dormy Series hotel and definitely not my last! the Nagano location was a 1 minute walk from the Nagano Central Terminal, which is convenient for anyone stopping by the city to visit snow monkeys or a short trip to Obuse.

The hotel itself is very new and the rooms are quite spacious in Japanese standards. To my surprise, there was an extremely nice hot springs on the 11th floor that’s open almost the entire day, so I actually just ended up taking showers there. If you’re up for onsen in the early morning, there is an outdoor “fruit bath” which is surprising very aromatic. They put shinshu apples in the onsen :) a very good way to start your day!

don’t forget to hit up the restaurant between 9-11pm..there is complimentary ramen for the midnight crawlers!! But if you’re really hungry, the hotel is situated next to a lot of bars and izakaya!! just ask the staff for recommendations or I always type in google “where the locals eat” to read the reviews beforehand.

Fair price with newish and free massage chair, relaxed outdoor onsen, and free soy sauce ramen, free ice/drink.

This is probably the most convenient and best onsen hotel option around the nagano station!
