Beautiful view of the lights over Nagasaki. Truly looks like the Milky Way as described by the commentary. Worth the trip to see. Wish I could have also seen view in the day but no time.

Beautifull place to visit in your stay at Nagasaki city.
The view is spectacular, if you have visit some attractions will be easy to identify them (ok not all but the information notes helps a lot).
There're a restaurante, a coffeeshop and some 2 other places to eat (which were closed).
At Slope car station you find some deers and monkeys, a nice place to take children.
As I visited on Friday (12h30), it was empty and I could take some amazing pictures.

Save this trip for the end of the day. The nighttime view is amazing. Restaurants at the top with good food and plenty of 360 degree view for your picture albums. There's a unique 2 car enclosed Railcar that takes you up the mountain.

This place is called the 10 million dollar night view but we went there during daytime. lol. Can be reached via ropeway, car, bus, or taxi. It was still a beautiful 360 degrees view from above despite being there around noon. Also, we were the only ones in the observation deck which was nice.

The night view is stunning!
Not just about the lights and buildings, and the atmosphere, the moon and stars, make it the top 3 night view in the world.

Great little hill to admire one of the best three night views in the world! We had to park half way up then there was a free shuttle bus to the observatory. The queue wasn't too bad and place was overall well organized. The view was amazing!

Reached this park with the intention of catching sunset over Nagasaki city. There are no views over the city, which are at the observatory. However, there is a free car park where you can park your car with a free shuttle service to the observatory. Not sure of when it runs but look for a bus in the park, a schedule and a line near the park playground. Buses run every 10-20 mins till 10pm. Otherwise, the observatory car park closes at 6.30pm on weekends/ public holidays and charges 100yen per 30 mins

Amazing view of nagasaki City at night. Get here by coach, 5min walk from Mt Inasa ropeway station or Taxi.
Entrance is free at the observatory. Plenty of people at night but the lookout platform is quite spacious. Highly recommend if your in nagasaki
This view is only second to Victoria Peak in Hong Kong.
You don't realise how big Nagasaki is until you come up here.
Definitely come here at night instead of daytime

10 million dollar night view of Nagasaki city is real! Well lit and runner friendly path going up the observatory, don't miss the deer enclosure :), PWD friendly path and elevator going up the top of the observatory..and ohh I really wanna go back to try the cable car, the night view will be even more priceless inside those cable cars, worth climbing or going!

Beautiful sights. A must see place when in Nagasaki city, the view is breathtaking.
You can use the rope car or just hike. Also, very good place for a picnic and if you just want some air. 😊

Beautiful view, a bit cold at this time of year but it's worth a visit. Absolutely recommend the sight at night since it's also among the top 3 views worldwide! The NHK towers are like beautiful mini Tokyo Towers! I liked it a lot

If you stay from twilight to sunset to light up of the city, the transformation is magical. We were there on New Year's Eve and it was windy and cold. Just be adequately padded so you don't have to keep sneaking back down from the top of the observatory to the glass enclosed spiral viewing gallery. It's warmer below but the glass will have reflection.

Best place to take your kids for a weekend. The park has all that is needed to keep the kids glued so finally you can catch up with your smart phone. You can also feed the deer and the monkeys in the mini zoo.

If you visited Nagasaki, make some time to visit this park and enjoy the scenery from the hills. The park is about 15 to 20 minutes (by bus) away from the train station. The view from the cable car is good enough, but the night scenary was spectacular. I really wished that I have high-magnified lenses.... Though quite chill up there, lovers and families would be satisfied.
