Kotori Cafe Ueno

A really lovely cafe with very friendly and helpful staff. The birds are all very well kept and the play time is worth every yen. Even if you choose not to play with them (which you totally should) there are plenty of other birds for you to enjoy while you eat your food. They also have an English menu available.

We had the drink and doughnut set which we upgraded to floats. The upgrade was worth it for the pictures alone.

Highly recommend as a spot to visit if you are in the area.

Super cute café, happy birds and yummy food!
We were actually too late for playing with the birds (> 5 pm) but the nice ladies made an exception, we are so grateful for that! It was a wonderful time at the Kotori Cafe Ueno and an absolute highlight of our Japan Trip!

It’s a very cozy place for the bird lovers to have a cup of tea.

I and my friend really like sparrow,. There’re a lot of sparrow related meal and drinks available to order on the menu. The cheese cake was great, and the soda with a sparrow head floating on it was so cute.

We also bought some bird-related postcards there. One of the gashapon machines contained a free-touch ticket on each capsule. We spent 10 minutes playing with the sparrows without having to pay. The staffs were polite and very friendly.

Very wonderful. If you like birds, you'd love it. The food is actually not so tasty-- cute but not tasty, yet... I don't mind at all cuz everything is too lovely!!! You can tell all the birds are taken good care of, they are healthy, perky, and looks shiny. You can go really close to some of them, just please behave yourself very well in case the birds are frightened.

My wife and I came here while on our honeymoon in Japan since we both love birds. The cafe was very cute and had lots of birds! There was an allotted time you were allowed to play with the birds for a price which I can't remember, but it was definitely reasonable. They had parakeets, cockatiels, lovebirds, and some finches too. My wife ordered the spaghetti and a tea. While I ordered I believe it was omurice and an asahi. It was a lot of fun eating and being able to watching the birds fly around. It didn't smell like birds at all nor was it noisy. The cages were all clean and the woman working was extremely kind. Thank you again! We will definitely visit again on our next trip.

Really cute café, there is no extra fee for entering unlike most other animal cafés. Birds seem healthy, lively and well taken care of, décor is very cute and I loved the bird themed shop as well. Menu is on the expensive side but it was a price I was happy to pay to get to watch the cute birds while eating.

Good food and the birds seem well looked after. Nice selection of gifts. Also good customer service for english speakers as well (not that it should be expected).

Highly recommend this place if you love birds. The hot cafe drinks are delicious, the staff went above & beyond to make your experience excellent.

So cute here! And you can pet or hold some birds for a small extra fee. Definitely worth coming by if you're around Ueno.

Had rice omelette, very tasty with a cute ketchup drawing on and a really yummy doughnut. Quite expensive but it's worth it because you know the money goes directlydirectly to the bird's welfare.

Love this place, I’ve come here many times. The birds seem happy and well, and they even use sustainable palm oil soap in the bathroom!

I really liked the cafe. The food was good and the little goods shop is selling so much cute stuff. The birds look well kept and there is always someone next to you when pick one up, so it felt pretty safe and secure for them.

ことりと触れ合ったり、眺めたりしながら食事や飲み物が楽しめるお店です。
休日のお昼の伺いましたが、店内は賑やか雰囲気でした。
インコ、文鳥やオウムがいて、大きなお部屋で優雅ない過ごしています。
かなり天気がよかったので、みんな眠そうな顔でした。
店内にはふれあいルームもあって、好きなインコや文鳥、オウムと触れ合う事もできます。
食事も頂く事ができるので、鳥好きな方はぜひ訪れてみてはいかがでしょうか。

鳥好きにはたまらない！清潔感あり爽やかなカフェ。窓越しに小鳥達が見られてワクワクします。鳥カフェは幾つか行きましたがこちらは野生味溢れると言うよりとても可愛い雰囲気。フードメニューも本当に可愛い。

鳥好きならたまらん場所です。ホームページで紹介されている鳥たちは触れ合うことができるメンバーで、他にもたくさんの鳥たちがいました！女性同士や親子での利用が多いようです。
食事メニューは少々お高めですがクオリティが高く、美味しくいただきました。

小鳥を観たり撮影するだけなら、カフェメニューを注文するだけでOK

アイスティー　770円を注文しましたが、他の皆さんは可愛らしいカフェメニューを注文していました

店内は小鳥グッズなどもたくさん販売されていて、ファンシーな雰囲気

小鳥とのふれあいは5分500円のようです

上野の美術館から根津神社へ向かう途中 偶然に通りすがり 以前から気になっていたのでお店に入りました。
入場料はなくお茶代だけ～
ガラス越しに小鳥たちが飛び回ったりおしゃべりしているのをみながら、コーヒーと小鳥デザインのドーナツをいただきました。
ふれあいタイムはプラス500円で5分。短いな～とは思うのですが、小鳥たちの事を考えると５分でちょうどよいのかも～
オカメインコをご指名させてもらい 手や肩にのって来てくれました。
ウロコインコのおなかがハート柄だよ～とスタッフさんにみせてもらいました。かわいい
とってもいい雰囲気のなかでゆっくりとさせてもらいました。美術館のあとまたいきます！！

いろんな種類の鳥さんを見れたり、鳥さんの形をしたカレーライスやジュース🍹見た目が可愛いだけではなく、とてもとても美味しかったです❣

ただ、もうちょっとゆっくりしたかったかな？人気があるようで次々とお客さんが来られたので予定よりかなり早めに店を出ました😌

また行こうと思います❣
