Kawaguchiko Tenjozan Park

Great place to take your family and friends to. The line for the rope line to go up the mountain can get busy and crowded so plan accordingly. However, the line is consistently moving. There is a small fee to take the rope line but inexpensive.
The park on top is interesting as there is a shop where you can take a bite from walking. They sold There is a also a shrine further up the mountain but we did not go.

This is where the cable car stops on the way up.

After this, you can continue walking up to the top. And when it's time to go back, I recommend that you don't take a cable car, rather walk along the track. It takes around 40 minutes. The track seems to be only used by locals. On the way down, there is a much better spot where you can take a selfie with Fuji mountain.

Definitely worth taking the JPY 900 return ropeway. Wonderful views and it takes you to high vantage point where the Fuji mount can be seen clearly.

The most beautiful scenery that I have ever seen in this world. I would spend one or two nights in this place in the future to fully appreciate the surrounding areas. We only spent one hour there after a long train ride from Tokyo station to Kawaguchiko station. I enjoyed looking out the windows during our train ride between the two cities.

It was a fun trip. You can expect a long line for the cable car both ways. There is snack food made fresh and excellent viewpoints. It's a short walk in the city to get to. I don't regret going. There's a long hike if you're up for it, but we did not take that as we hadn't planned on it.

View of Mt Fuji here is Worth it, with 360 view of Mt Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko, they also offer foods on the top, but be at the entrance as early as possible to avoid long lines

Very beautiful park with many good views of Mt. Fuji, Lake Kawaguchi and gorgeous forest. There's several places to take photos here and also a shop to buy souvenirs, votive boards, icecream and photos on a swing that make you look like you're flying over the mountains

One the best view point of iconic mount Fuji.
Love bell and swing are must to try here.
Enjoying the view with eating dumpling here is simply wow.
Fuji san may be covered with clouds even the forecast is clear.
Wait for some time to clouds get clear and enjoy the iconic mount Fuji.

I am so lucky to have a good weather and a very clear Mt. Fuji view. It's my first time there, and took lots of photos. Very happy and satisfied. I even played the swing. They will play music and take photos for you. But you better buy ticket in the souvenir shop before you come up there. You can also walk further up to the shire, where you can have a very Zen Mt. Fuji picture. Wish to come back in winter time.

Worth the trip up through the cable cart. You can continue hiking up a 6hour round trip journey but we decided to just enjoy some ice cream instead.

Beautiful place. It's a very nice park to see the Fuji mountain. Specially in winter season with nice weather to take pictures in this park. The cable car is also funny.

Went almost during lunch time. It was warm cause of the sun. Taking the slope up and the stairs down was the best option. Mid way 20 mins up was an observation post with a great view. There is also a restroom but prepare to wait.

Beutifull viewing platform, from the top of ropeway with coffee shop. Clear sky during winter. Long que but, moving fast.

Good place to visit via the ropeway. Worth coming here on a clear day to click some good Panasonic photos of mouth Fuji. The place has some food and ice cream plus good photo taking spots. Peaceful place to observe the wide view all around. We went during later afternoon and were lucky to have great clear sky but the Mount Fuji was getting clouds around. Don’t forget to bring your wide angle lens.

I visited this place in May, and the weather was very nice. It offers a wonderful view of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko. However, I couldn't get a clear picture of Mount Fuji due to the clouds. The ropeway is safe, and the staff is very kind and energetic

Veryyy nice view..so calm here..suggest use hiking trail instead you have to long que if u want to ride cable car..

Loved the experience, you need some luck (in terms of the weather) to get a full view of Mt. Fuji, the tram going up the mountain is cute. Quite crowded but didn’t affect the experience. The place is quite serene and relaxing.

Hiking available but most come for the scenic view of the kawaguchiko lake below.
Also there is a swing above good for taking pics
There’s also two mascots involving a squirrel and a rabbit who is light up the squirrel’s firewood, apparently a Japanese folk story .

Beautiful views of the lake and boat trips on the lake. Didn't go on the trips due to time restraint so can't comment.

It’s worth to take the cable cars up here at Kawaguchiko for the sightseeing of Mt.Fujisan 🗻and take some photos here with your friends and family. Try sitting in the benches and take some few minutes for the breathtaking views of Fujisan
