Dated to the middle of the 2nd century AD, the Mausoleum of Germanus is a Roman temple-type tomb with a portico made up of four columns before the square tomb area.

An inscription found in the site mentions a Centurion from an auxiliary unit named Germanus son of Molpon. His open sarcophagus can be seen strewn along tumbled stones in front of the portico.

The site lies quite far from the Archaeological Park of Jerash. A vehicle is needed. There are no facilities of any kind here, and the site should be left undisturbed. Drink and food refuse should be collected and discarded appropriately.
