Yummy chicken and rice dish that comes served with a tomato chilli and hot soup. Two sets and two teas cost us 9JD~ hearty meal to end off our Jerash tour 😋

We went here for dinner and had a great experience. The chicken and rice (with various sauces) was delicious. One of the employees kindly went to get us some non-alcoholic mojitos from another shop nearby, which was really appreciated. And the bill was very reasonable. Bravo!

Stopped here fro lunch after visiting the Archeological site.
The staff were very nice, sitting us in a private booth with AC. Menu consisted in traditional rice with chicken with bean and tomato soups. Very big portions that were very tasty.

After visiting so many overprice restaurant and experiencing different tourist trap, I would like to highly recommend this restaurant to traveler who want a affordable lunch option next to the Jerash historical site.

We forget to ask about the price of meal in advance, but luckily its reasonably priced, around 4~5JOD per person, including drinks/ water. The taste of the rice is good with raisin and so many different sauce to mix. The owner is also nice and honest guy, also very helpful.

Worth mention: the toilet is a decent one, which is not so common in Jordan

Really nice and accomodating staff, we were a group of 7 and they moved tables to make room for us.
Yes, there is only 1 dish, chicken Mandi - so if you don't want that, don't come here.
However the rice is soooo good!
The salsa and sauces they serve are also excellent.
The price is very reasonable less than 5euro with drinks

Really nice and helpful staff. The dishes from Yemen are delicious. Flavourful rice with a great sauce, delicious bean soup, small salad and juicy chicken with spices. Even for vegetarians it’s still nice to eat here, the soup and rice with topping is great.

Very delicious Yemen style mandi chicken rice, the chicken is cooked underground. The restaurant staff Yazzan is extremely friendly. Don’t miss out this amazing dish if you ever come to Jerash. It’s 3JD per plate.

Amazing rice and chicken, really wonderful. I really recommend it for tourist, especially that it is really close to the historical centre. The staff firstly let us taste everything and we choose the type of rice we loved the most. Additionally, we got some bonus meals (including amazing bean soup) and really nice fresh mango juice.

loved this place!!! you can mix different types of rice, and they explained what each one is and where it’s from. rly rly value for money as well! one portion is so big we shared it between two and still couldn’t finish. highly recommend getting the yoghurt as a sauce

Great place with local food. They only have one dish (chicken with rice) but you also get a soup and a salad. I’m a vegetarian so I only had the rice with salad but still it was absolutely delicious and I would definitely go there again.

Amazing food and amazing people! We spent one night in Jerash and the guy of the hostel we were staying at, suggested this place to have good traditional food. Not the classic turistic restaurant but absolutely genuine! Just in front of Jerash ruins, the service is kind and nice, pure jordan hospitality! Very good prices and of course free tee, also with a very good sweet offered by the owner! Highly recommended!

Delicious food for a great price. (7 JOD for 2 meals and water). They serve you a big portion of different rices with a piece off tasty chicken and delicious tomatto soup.
