Very warming and welcoming experience. Food is delicious, especially I loved hummus salad and other fresh vegetable salads, hot meals from bufet were also amazing. Friendly, helpful attitude, it was a pleasure to visit your restaurant 🙏 wish you a lot of prosperity and happy clients!

This is a really good buffet close to the famous Jerash site.

The food is quite varied and amazingly fresh for being a buffet. So many incredible sides to choose from.

Great place after the Jerash visit. We ordered 2 fresh mint-lemon juices and they were so refreshing and delicious that I asked if they could make 2 more for us for the road. They didn't have the plastic cups as they don't offer it usually but the owner of the place overheard us asking for it, so he made one of the waiters go and buy some cups. In the matter of minutes they made two more refreshing drinks for us for our ride back to Amman and even gave us 2 bottles of water for free. This is genuine customer service!

Very friendly host, made us feel welcome. English is not a problem. We went for a local dish and we recieved that. The food was delicious, beeing hungry would not be a problem here. It'a a typical arab hospitality, jordan hospitality.

Everything was OK! Perfect location just outside Jerash archeological site. Great topical jordan food. Mohammad, the restaurant host was very kind. I suggest to everyone to stop here to eat and stay well.

Really welcoming staff and owner! During our stay they explained us basic of Jordanian life and habits! The food was very tasty! Really happy that we stopped there it’s so worth for money! 100 % recommended!

I enjoyed their buffet...my personal favorite part was the salad buffet with so many different fresh options and dips.

There were also hot dishes and fruit available.

The food was tasty and the staff very friendly and helpful. Mohammed was helping me out and he made the whole experience even more enjoyable. When I told him that I will return to the restaurant to eat after visiting the ruins, he gave me a cold bottle of water to take with me, which was so kind of him and greatly appreciated because it was hot outside.

The Old Roman Restaurant is the best place to eat if you are visiting Jerash. It is a lovely cosy place with wonderful local company. Nasr and Anas who run it are so welcoming and we had a brilliant meal of Maqluba that filled us up for the rest of the week!! This is a must visit on your trip!!

Very nice place with friendly people. Suleiman is taking care of everything and everyone. Delicious dishes all you can eat style. Just sit in and relax in the peaceful shadow before or after visiting the amazing Jerash ruins.

I’ve been here for breakfast and dinner and both of our experiences were fantastic. The food is fresh, tasty. For the breakfast I think it was very nice that they included omelette on the meal ( most of places we need to order apart). For the lunch, the vegetables we amazing and the chicken incredibly soft. We also have some sort of fava beans, that was unique. Strongly recommend

I have been there every time I came to Jerash over the last years when visiting family in Jordan. The restaurant is well located by the parking lot right next to the bazar and very near the entrance to the ruins.
The owner, Mr. Nasser, is very friendly and the staff is nice, you get good service. The restaurant has a large terrace, it is very nice to sit there outside or even in the beautiful garden that has a few trees and also flowers.
The food has been ecxellent so far, always fresh and you can try many different dishes at the buffet, also there are various salads to choice from and there is also soup in the winter and dessert, jogurt and bread as well.
The restaurant offers tea, coffee, lime juice, soft drinks. You can always have a barbecue meal and order a shisha! I have always enjoyed eating there so far, can absolutely recommend it to visitors!

Its a big restaurant near the entrance of roman's ruins, perfect for big groups. We have a great dinner and breakfast!!!
