After touring the Archeological site of Jerash, Sareeka and I stopped by 'Al-Khaimah Restaurant for Mansaf', a well-known local eatery that serves just one dish: Mansaf. It also happens to be the national dish of Jordan and is made of lamb cooked in a sauce of fermented dried yogurt called Jameed, served with rice sprinkled with toasted almonds or pine nuts.
This was outstandingly delicious, and even though I've had this dish before in Saudi Arabia, nothing compares to how good it tasted. The portion size was generous for 14 JOD and could have easily fed 3-4 people. The restaurant is ideally located right next to the archaeological site of Jerash.

Very nice food, friendly staff/owner. We tried lamb mansaf and was very tasty! Great place to eat after you explored the Jerash roman ruins, very close to the entrance. Recommended!

The restaurant only serves one dish: Mansaf. We took it with chicken (lamb obviously also available) and really loved it. Very friendly owner too, we can just recommend this restaurant!

For the best taste of mansaf look no further and dont be alarmed by the few reviews as it is a very and truly Local Jordanian restaurant only visited by locals no tourist due to the locality therefore these few reviews

The best mansaf I had in Jodarn so far. Its taste is much better than that of 5 star hotel restaurnt.

I ate Mansaf for the first time at Tent Restaurant for Mansaf. It was very delicious. Hemmam the owner showed me how to eat it with my hand like a Jordanian. It was very messy but good fun. The staff are very friendly. There is also a very good view of Hadrians Arch right outside.

Best Mansaf in Jerash, in fact in whole of Jordan. Tender juicy meat with best scenic view. The price is reasonable too. Highly recommended.

Personale molto gentile e disponibile. I piatti sono enormi. Si mangia il piatto tipico giordano, il menscaf con agnello, servito sopra un vassoio strabordante di riso e mandorle.

Très bon accueil et service très rapide. Serveur accueillant et agréable. On a mangé un mansaf agneau très très copieux pour 10 JOD.
