Wadi Rum Visitor Center

As a person who was not able to purchase the Jordan Pass (due to nationality status). You have to pay 7 JOD before you enter the Wadi Rum area (by bus or car).

It doesn’t bother my whole journey as the transaction is fast. It took me like 3-5 minutes along with other tourists who have Jordan Pass with them.

They also have some shops and souvenirs stores in the area but I didn’t bother to check it all out as I was on the bus thinking they might have to wait for me if that’s the case.

This is a must! What a wonderful desert experience. Accommodations and the food were excellent. Everything you could ask for.
Tents, bubbles, camals, airbolooms, and delicious food, all you can eat.

This is the beginning of your journey to the desert of Wadi Rum. All of your papers and stamps are from this place. It's a nice place already in the desert with some nice views. There are also some facilities like a post or food stores. Definitely you will stay here just for a while and that's enough. Thank you🤩

Wadi Rum is an amazing desert. I went for a full one day experience with a jeep tour which covered many iconic places in the vast desert.

Prepare to hike a lot, and some of the scenic places require climbing to high areas so it's definitely not for the faint of heart. I also tried sand boarding, which was so awesome.

Nonetheless, the views were stunning. And when sunset came, the views were out of this world.

before come inside of Wadi Rum desert , have to come to make check point here ! if you are already have Jordan pass then the officer will check with your passport and stamp on document for you but if you don't have then have to pay for ticket fee, after pass check point just drive inside the village about 6 km. will have many tour companies with many prices and many activities for you can select and have fun!

What to say about this beautiful desert. The best desert that I've been so far. Great sightseeings to admire

A magnificent desert area in the south of Jordan. A wadi is a valley.

Wadi Rum known also as the Valley of the Moon is a valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock in southern Jordan to the east of Aqaba; it is the largest wadi in Jordan.

We took one of the jeep tours near the Sun City Camp which drove us through the mountains and desert areas in Wadi Rum. We were able to stop and exit the jeep to climb various hills and see over the mountains. So impressive.

There is one area where we stopped to view the rock drawings and take a camel ride if one so desired. The sight is breathtaking.

Wadi Rum is absolutely incredible. Go to the visitor's center for a potty break before enjoying your tour of Wadi Rum! They provided toilet paper but be sure to throw it in the bins and not the toilet.

One of the must visit place in Jordan if you’re coming as tourists. The desert safari ride for the sun sets and the photoshoot it’s perfect location.

A place with a very beautiful view. The visitor center offers transportation through the desert in Toyota pickup trucks. A great experience that brings you a lot of emotion. Half the pickup trucks are from the Lawrence of Arabia and are driven by very young people. Our driver was about 15 years old. Maybe you don't need a license to drive in the desert. We were quite worried as we rode. So before you get into the pickup, ask who your driver is. There are several stops along the way for rest and tea. There is a problem with the camels. They are not enough and we could not go up.

I read that we have to get our Jordan pass stamped here for entry to Wadi Rum but we’ve never been checked for the stamp. We were also given a map of the attractions in the park. It was helpful to check out the price list of tours at the visitor center tho, so we knew if we were being quoted a fair price when we tried to organize tours at our campsite. Definitely worth stopping by. And there’s an atm across the road which seemed to have some connectivity issues but will eventually dispense money if you wait for long enough.

A must see place when in Jordan. Wadi rum deserts are amazing. It is a must to hire a guide with a 4x4 car if you want to see a lot.

I highly recommend a visit to Wadi Rum. It's a place you won't want to miss, especially for capturing stunning photos and videos. The visuals you'll capture are bound to be nothing short of amazing.

Take note of the tour prices posted as it will help later when booking a jeep tour in Wadi Rum when the individual tours will almost certainly begin with much higher quotes. And don't put too much confidence in when they tell you their prices are more because they will take you off the standard tourist track where everyone goes "like the visitor center tours". They'll likely be taking you to all the same spots which are amazing anyway.

Small but convenient people are very pleasant. Speak very good English offer different variety of tours

If you have the Jordan Pass you’re in and out in a minute cause all you need is a stamp. Friendly and helpful staff. Get there early am or late pm as the tour buses start rolling in around 11am.

The place is so good. Toilet very clean.
