Bubble Luxotel Wadi Rum

Bubble Luxotel was one of the, if not the best hotel experience in my life. The location is secluded away from the touristy part of Wadi Rum with stunning mountains all around. The bubble hotel is spectacular with all amenities one can think of from a hammock, jacuzzi, big beds, beautiful living room (with a comfy sofa) & a fantastic washroom/changing area. The morning views were to die for & sleeping under the stars & moon looking up while sleeping was absolutely magical. Keep in mind, you're bang in the middle of a vast desert stretching over 700 kms! So the facilities were even more mind-blowing.

Notably, the breakfast was great (mashed potatoes were the best) & the dinner was also fantastic with lots of meat options. The way they make chicken & lamb is also unique, make sure you request the staff to show you how they do it, the staff is very nice and helpful.

The high cost does actually feel like worth it even though now is a good time to go because of less tourists & you might get these rooms for even around $200/night. Overall, I highly recommend Bubble Luxotel Wadi Rum as a unique & Wonderful life experience.

There were a few marks on the bubble tent on the top from where you see outside from the living room & bedroom. You wish they would be cleaned (if possible), but this is not enough to deduct a ⭐.

Also the reviews about Jacuzzi not working, food being bad & feeling unsafe (it's an auto-lock system, come on!) is something I didn't face at all. They were all fantastic and to the contrary. (Jan 22-24, 2024)

This is a very special and memorable place. The Bubbles are unique, and we found them clean and comfortable. Service from all the staff was attentive. I would disagree with the 1&2* ratings seen from others. Maybe their expectations were different!

It was a special and plesent experience in Wadi Rum. The staff are incredible rooms are spectacular and service is at top level.

Apart from the crowed..away from the roads feels like we are in a lost world....

Must try the start gazzing..Abdul Hadi is an expert in his field and explains well. I saw Jupiter Saturn and many stars...

It is amazing and special everytime, the staff are incredible and like family!
The rooms are wonderful and the food is delicious! Will definitely go for the fourth time!

Excellent bubble hotel insider the wadi rum area.
Cleaned and romantic room with a magic view, also during the blue hour when you come back from the safari into the desert.
Kind staff and good buffet. Adam, our safari guide is an amazing people, very kind but since the first impact with him it could be one of your friend. Keep in mind his name when you book the safari.
During the night the magic of stars and milky way will be above your head and no noise or other can disturb you in this amazing moment.

i never seen good coffee in desert.... they have 85 score arabica ... and they know how to serve good coffee in desert... i think i can't reach espresso in desert.. but in Luxotel it's real ... thanks for everything

We had a wonderfull time in this Luxotel, the staff was very nice and kind always with smile on their face, we loved the food, and also the rooms, we will definitelly come again. The Wadi Rum desert plus this Appartments are together the best comco for a lifetime journey a experience you will never forget.

A truly magical and memorable experience. We stayed in a king suite bubble for two nights which had a very comfortable bed. Great food/dinner buffet with a huge variety of local cuisine and other international options. All the staff were very friendly and hospitable, a special mention to Yousseff who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was very special. We enjoyed the sunset from our private jacuzzi both nights - magic! We did all the activities - jeep tour, camel ride and the star gazing which was all really well done. All our guides were very attentive, took lots of photos and made the days fun! Thank you Bubble Luxotel team we will definitely be recommending this experience.

Beautiful place in Wadi Rum. The rooms are amazing, though it can get cold at night. Jacuzzi on the terrace under the stars is Incredible. The team is very friendly. Dinner is absolutely amazing, probably one of the best I had while in Jordan, so hats off to the chef to be able to cook such great and tasty dishes in the middle of the desert. I highly recommend the Stargazing experience, which was definitely something to remember. Overall very happy with this place, and we were lucky that we managed to get a reservation as it is booked out quite a lot during the busy seasons. Thank you to the whole team for a great and memorable experience!

‏Excellent service, perfect place, and helpful staff willing to do anything for you to have an enjoyable and non forgettable experience. If you want to experience a less authentic but super luxurious night in Wadi Rum with billion star jacuzzi. This the only and the perfect choice!

‏The desert tour with Anwar was fantastic, very knowledgeable. The stargazing was really breathtaking experience !he could show me the galaxy and take beautiful pictures for me with it, although the moon was full.

Compared to prior experience with a much cheaper camp, this camp is the best in terms of cleanliness and comfort, hands down. AC in rooms is great. Bathroom is great. We stayed in the bubble with king bed and bathroom and our expectations were met: view, cleanliness of room and furniture, kettle with coffee and tea as well as a fridge. A nice hammock was outside the room on the porch.
The staff are hospitable and helpful

A plus is the star gazing area which is within a 3 minute walk. Hadi- the star expert- was amazing!

They offer a wide variety of activities. We did the sunset ride which was great- extra charge. We did the sunrise hot air balloon which was out of this world!!

The buffet- dinner & breakfast were both excellent.

Negatives:
Reception area should be more cooled down. Managements should invest in more air conditioners for the scorching heat months. We were sweating while waiting to be checked in. For the price of the bubbles, this is. It acceptable.

The food ordered a la carte was absolutely disappointing. Do NOT order a al carte.

When we arrived, it was outside buffet time, some food was lying in the heat on the buffet tables with flies all over it. We pointed that out and the chef came and addressed the issue right away.

Super unique experience. We did the stargazing at night with a guide which was very cool. Just lying in bed staring at all the bright stars was a neat experience. Hot tub was nice and the views great. Friendly staff.

Best hotel in Petra loved the view the mini hot pool amazing, amazing service honest people loved it would come again

Definitely 5 star experience. Great as friends or romantic getaway. Service was top notch, staff are very kind and go out of their way to help you throughout your stay. Place is beautiful, absolutely peaceful & relaxing. The jeep safari is a must - ask for Ahmed, he makes it’s a great experience & takes great photos! Beds are super comfortable and the food was tasty - not quite sure why others have said otherwise, couldn’t fault it! Definite must do experience!

This is an absolutely Spectacular place to experience. Across desert in the sand, the camp sits which is thrilling in itself to reach your destination. You are met by the view of lots of pods which is an almost unusual wonder, such as Star Wars comes to mind. Well worth a stay here.

Wow. What a unique experience to stay in the middle of the desert and just get lost in the solitude. The facility is great and the staff here is very helpful. The dinner spread was also amazing

Our stay was beyond magical. The staff was friendly and provided the best advice for making the most of our time. The views from our bubble were nothing short of amazing - both spectacular rock formations surrounding us as well as the evening stars above us. The rooms were very clean and in excellent shape. The food provided was great - plenty of options for the vegetarian and carnivore alike! The activities provided several life long memories: star gazing with the knowledge and charming Abdel Hadi, hot air balloon ride by Ballons Over Rum was thrilling yet serene and finally out 4x4 trip with Adl provided breathtaking views and many moments of pure wonder. We couldn’t wait to write this glowing review and hope to visit again!
