Spectacular .. by far it can be the best Hotel in Wadi Rum. its privileged locations between rocks and sand.
We stayed two nights (advisable) in a clean, comfortable, private and spacious Sultan Tent room. As this Hotel and other hotels in Wadi Rum are famous for their Martian tent rooms... we wanted one of these rooms, but due to lack of availability we had the Sultan Tent... I think it's the best thing that could have happened to us.
The food is delicious and very well attended… dinner, especially exceptional. They have a refreshing pool and a bar where only non-alcoholic drinks are offered.
…Although I gave them five stars and 99.9% of all aspects of my stay were excellent, I just have one thing to write down… I stayed for two nights and they didn't make up our room. It's not a problem for me, I make my bed every day! … I think it happened because it is a busy hotel and visitors come and go…many tourists arrive in the afternoon and leave very early the next morning.
I repeat,
I advise staying two days minimum.
Thank you very much and congratulations I wish I could come back 🙏🏼

We visited the hotel with friends and we were immediately captivated by the vast red sand dunes, towering rock formations, and the overall surreal landscape. It was a unique and unforgettable experience.

There are many things to do including Camel trekking, Jeep tours, and hiking so you can explore the desert's rugged terrain or just take in the peacefulness and serenity which has left a lasting impression as we had the opportunity to disconnect from the modern world.

The staff were very warm and welcome and the place was clean and authentic - very much recommended!

At Wadi Rum Palmera Camp I had one of the most beautiful nights of the year, in retrospect maybe even of my life. The sleeping bubbles are wonderful, with blinds that can be pulled back when needed. Beautifully furnished and with a fully equipped bathroom. Heating is also available on cold nights. The view from the bubbles and the whole area around the camp is breathtaking. There is nothing better than walking here early in the morning when most are still asleep. The kitchen is great and isn't that crazy - in the middle of the desert.

We would have accepted less (even if we hadn't wanted less) and were surprised. Incredibly friendly staff and boss. We would love to come back for a longer stay, a retreat. Spa is not needed. The place is spa enough.

Spent a night here in February 2023 on our way to Petra. The entire experience was amazing. I came in with no expectations given it's remote location. Getting to the camp grounds was an experience in itself. Everyone was extremely helpful and aimed to please. The Manager at the camp was very warm and caring. He and the rest of the team at the camp wanted to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves.

The manager reviewed the property with us and explained the details of the property including the dos and don'ts. He also explained anything that would cost extra, like the Wifi ($25usd).

Dinner was excellent, very authentic Arabic food. After dinner we signed up last minute for the Star Gazing experience and the Manager took care of everything and explained the additional costs. I would highly recommend the star gazing. I have never seen so many stars in the sky before. (this experience is about a 30 minute drive to the location).

Breakfast was also great and very fresh. I am still amazed how they get anything delivered out to the middle of the desert.

I was with my teens who also loved everything, especially the camp's dogs who are the sweetest pups.

I would highly recommend spending one night here. You will be out of your comfort zone but well worth it. I just would recommend packing snacks as there is no gift shop or store within an hour. Also, make sure to have cash USD or JOD for tipping and any additional charges.

Never been an outdoor person, my very first camping ever! And surprisingly, I was completely in love with everything there at Palmera Camp!
Fantastic campground with a breathtaking view! No words can aptly describe.
Memorable trip, every penny was well spent!

P.S. The bubble tents were just fabulous!

Can not reccomend this place enough! Absolutely stunning camp with spectacular views! The room was spacious and felt very luxurious. The facilities such as the shower and air con were incredible especially in such a remote location. The pool was a nice touch too!
A wide variety of food was available for dinner, all very flavoursome and delicious. What makes this camp stand out from the others is the exceptional and genuine care and kindness from all members of staff and the owner. Thank you so much for a comfortable stay!

Stunning camping experience. Definitely recommend over cheaper options if you prefer to spend the night in the desert in comfort. We drove here ourselves, which isn't recommended for the faint-hearted. Google maps thinks you've arrived in the middle of the desert and we had another ~45 mins of driving without any real idea where we're going. Roads don't exist; you're driving on loose sand for the most part. A fun but unsettling experience - well worth the destination though. A night's sleep in complete silence was the highlight for me.

Our two-night stay at Wadi Rum Palmera Camp was a highlight of our travels in Jordan. The facility is very nice and our domed tent was a fun departure from normal lodging. But what really sets the camp apart is the staff led by Ramy (the manager) who goes out of his way to make guests feel welcome. They also arranged a jeep excursion to explore the nature and history of the Wadi Rum preserve. Highly recommend Wadi Rum Palmera Camp to anyone considering a visit to the area.

The best camp I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous style, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms, and high quality service. Overall, I had a great experience with Palmera camp; staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to enjoy a break in the desert.

Can't say enough good things about this place.
- Location in the rocks is ideal. It means the camp has privacy and some spectacular views.
- Food was great. The coffee bar is great as well.
- Beautiful place to watch the sunrise and sunset.
- Bubble room was incredible. The view of the sky is out of this world.
- Enjoyed lounging by the fire place and chatting with the others.
- Tamman and the team were amazing and took care of us.

We stayed at Palmera camp for one night. When we arrived to the wadi rum gate we easily got in contact with the manager to arrange a shuttle for us to the place.
Once arrived we were amazed by the beauty and peacefullness of this place.
The interior is very cosy and you feel fast at home.
The bubbles are comfortable. We took a swim seeing the mountains of the desert. Perfect way to cool down.
The diner in the evening was very well organised and later we sat at the bar looking to the clear sky of stars. It leaves you speechless.
The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful.
It felt like we stayed with family.
Also the breakfast we enjoyed.
We really recommend this place.

One of the best luxurious camps in Wadi Rum. The location is in a secluded area inside the preserved desert which means the sand and rocks are so special in addition to the loss of wifi and any sort of network.

Perfect place to have a retreat alone, or a romantic couple experience or even a family or a group of friends.

The staff are the best I’ve ever seen in touristic areas in Jordan. The food is beyond our expectations. The chef is Syrian and he cooks all kinds of food.

The bar has a nice variety of tea, coffee and some drinks.

The surprise is the swimming pool, never swam in the dessert before? It’s your chance now or take a dip at night under the bright stars.

The camp owner is a generous man with a beautiful inspiring personality, my husband and I truly enjoyed this night. Next time I’m booking two nights so we can catch some sunset hike.

Breakfast also was great.
Highly recommended for all ages and all kinds of desert loving time.

Wadi Rum is an epic location in Jordan and a must see, Palmera Camp was the highlight of our 4 days overland motorbike trip from Dubai to Beirut. We stopped at Palmera Camp for the night, but we ended up spending an extra day, thanks to our hosts and owners Rami and Sameh who made us feel at home, with an unforgettable experience. The level of details in the tents is amazing, the quality and generosity of the food made us put on some weight! But all healthy and fresh. I even tried camel milk for the first time in my life. The service was 5* and Karim was always looking after us during our whole stay. I'll definitely be back with my family one day.

This has got to be the best camp I have been to in Wadi Rum! The staff here is amazing, the food is extremely fresh, and the rooms are clean and nice! The owner is extremely kind and very attentive and you could tell that they put a lot of effort in this camp to please everyone! Everyone here was very informative and kind, and you all need to check it out!

Palmera Camp is truly a luxury experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the owner was very accommodating. The dinner was by far the best we’ve eaten on our trip to Jordan. The attention to detail put into the camp makes you feel relaxed and at peace in the desert.

I've never been to a place like this before! Everything was more than perfect, my husband & I spent our honeymoon here 5 days ago & they treated us the best way you can imagine. The food was very tasty & healthy. We stayed at Sultana room; it has a very unique decoration, big & most importantly with an AC. Tareq the manager was beyond helpful, he kept checking on us if we needed anything all the time, and the staff were very polite and professional too. We will definitely come again. Worth every penny!

My husband and I had the extreme pleasure of staying at the Wadi Rum Palmera Camp at the end of February 2022. We can't say enough about our overnight stay at this unique place in this extraordinary desert. The owners, Sameh and Tammam, were the most gracious hosts we've ever met in our travels around the world. The "Martian dome" and its furnishings together with the food and the lovely warm and inviting gathering at the luxuriously decorated madafa, made for a wonderful and memorable experience. The only regret we have is that we were only able to stay one night. We can only hope that one day brings us back to the Wadi Rum Palmera Camp!

Exceptional desert camp. The host Rami is a delight and the rest of the staff are kind beautiful humans. If you are open to sitting in slow simple beauty, you will be rewarded with with the magic of this place.
