Um Frouth Rock Arch

Amazing natural arch formation in the middle of wadi rum desert. The hike was not as tough as it appeared from the ground. But one need shoe with a good grip. The view from top is rewarding.

High natural rock that you can climb on. Worth to get on and ask someone to take a picture. Good to have shoes instead of flip flops or so.

Beautiful natural formed sand stone arch, try not to miss in your Jeep tour at wadi rum.
Not that hard to climb but you need to take care when you do it.

This is a high natural rock bridge deep inside the Wadi Rum Protected Area. This was our last stop on the jeep safari. It's an adventurous experience climbing this huge rock and then crossing the bridge itself. The feeling at the top of the bridge is quite amazing.

Absolutely beautiful and provides vast views of the Wadi Rum desert. It’s a long trek by Jeep to the site but worth the bumpy ride. Your guide can provide information about the area and teach you about the Bedouin people and their traditions. Enjoy!

Wear proper shoes and be careful, the you will be rewarded with a nice view.

One of the best stops in the desert safari, slightly challenging but the view and the pictures are amazing. I highly recommend it.

We visited this location on 4-hour tour that we booked in advance. The tour started in Wadi Rum village and this was one of the stop points. To climb up you have to wear good climbing shoes. It's not to difficult, nor too easy. You have to be careful when climbing and especially when going down. Don-t forget to give your camera to your guide in order to have the photos.

Superb! It's almost unbelivable that this natural formation is suspended in the air between those two blocks of stone. If you are not afraid of the heights, you have good footwear and have some basic climbing skills DO go the top. The view is worth the climb and the picture you can take is awesome. Bare in mind that going down is harder than going up! ;)

The climb is not as hard as it looks, but still be careful and have shoes with good grip. The last little climb has a long distance between the "ground" and the step.

Worth a stop to climb and grab a couple of pics. Not a hard climb but there are no safety measures (as is typical in this region) so ensure you take care. Wear appropriate shoes as rock ascent is sandy in places, making it slippery.

A very nice views. You can climb if you want. It is easy but be carefull because there are sand on the rocks and you can fall out.
It is better in the evening because of the sun light.

It doesn't look safe from the ground and it doesn't feel safe from the top, but it's impossible to resist the temptation to climb up the super-steep side of the rocks and wear your Indiana Jones hat, standing on the top.

Biggest of the rock bridges. Attractive, but climbing it is a bit tricky - especially last part on return.

It's easy-to-climb rock arch. It takes only few minutes, but the view from the top is great!

If you aren't interesting for climbing, just take a cup of tea and enjoy a bit of shade, do the photos of your mates when they reach the top.

Interesting place. Quite scary to get up or down. Guides usually help tourists up/down.

It is quite unique, at least I have never seen anything the like before. The stairs to climb it are almost worn away, but the friction on the sandstone is good enough that you can come up even when it is raining. When it rains you can sit on a small rock formation just under the bridge. You will see it after climbing half the way up.

And yes, you can walk on it!

Impressive. Fun to reach the top, but the guide should warm people that getting up is hard, but then getting down safely is especially down are quite challenging. The guide really should coach first timers about where to put their feet for each of about a dozen steps in the way down. When we were there tourists were taking turns helping each other.
