An incredible adventure in Wadi Rum with Bedouine Directions! Not only did they expertly guide us through the stunning landscapes, but the night spent under the stars was truly magical. The food cooked by our guides was amazingly delicious, adding an authentic touch to the experience. This trip was more than just a tour; it was a deep dive into the beauty and culture of the desert.
Can't recommend them enough!

A fantastic experience in Wadi Rum with Odeh. After researching many of the different camps, we went for Bedouin Directions because of its simplicity, location and positive reviews of Odeh and his relaxed approach.

We weren't disappointed. It was certainly a relaxed approach to the tour, but we welcomed that. As well as seeing popular sites we met Odeh's cousins as they were moving their goats to a new grazing area (and were of course offered the customary tea) we then went searching for his uncles camels to check they were all okay and also had a midday nap, if was great to experience a bit of the Bedouin culture.

The camp location is nice and isolated, so you don't feel part of the maybe over commercialised sections of Wadi Rum, and the facilities are basic but more than good enough. Overall great value too.

A great experience. A small, intimate environment in the desert. My partner and I stayed 2 nights, with a hike on our full day. Special thanks to Mohammed for the excellent hiking tour and lunch outside. We got a feel of Bedouin life, the guides are very friendly and the camp is a relaxing environment. I'll be recommending to my family and friends!

What an amazing experience! We took the camel dreams experience, a 3 day camel treck with myself, my wife, and Mohammed the Bedouin guide (the best Bedouin guide). Each day we rode the camels to different special and hidden locations of the desert, enjoying the scenery along the way. After a good day riding we went back to Odehs camp to eat the most amazing food prepared by Mohamed, who is a really really good chef, and a very kind host. The camp is magical. It is quiet and secluded, and just perfect to watch the moon & stars, and the sunrise.

Odeh is a most welcoming host, and both Mohammeds are incredibly kind and knowledgeable guides. The camels 🐫 are lovely, happy and very easy to ride, it was pur first time riding a camel (I have not ridden a horse either) and we had no issues riding the lovely camels and felt totally safe throughout.

100 percent recommend. Thanks to all of you at the camp.

We have been searching for a camp that will provide us with an optimal desert experience and we found it 
The booking process went very smooth and was done in perfect English (as the camp is supported by a UK native speaker). We have been picked up and drove back perfectly on time and everything went very professional and in friendly atmosphere.
The camp is located in the center of the desert in a lovely location with a stunning view. The bathroom facilities and the tents were very clean, with hot water and electric light. There was an option to charge your phone / camera in the tent which we did not expect. We have booked the whole day private jeep tour and have enjoyed every minute of it. The lunch on the tour was tasty and the guide was very friendly and not pushy (we had time for everything and we stopped whenever needed for our kids). During the stay we have been offered with plenty of water and Bedouin tee. The meals were rich and even picky eaters could find something that they enjoyed.
We have been allowed to take the mattresses and sleep under the stars which we enjoyed a lot.
We had a great stay and can warmly recommend the camp.

This tour company was amazing! This was my favourite part of my Jordan trip. Our tour guide Odeh was so funny, friendly and welcoming.
The tour was pretty much private and we saw so much of the desert. The camp was amazing! Beautiful communal space for meals, clean huts for sleeping with proper beds and blankets and very clean shower and toilets.

Beautiful location and the food was amazing! So much effort, we even had a cooked lunch made fresh in the middle of the desert.

Would highly recommend to go with this tour company!!!

We did a full day jeep tour with overnight stay. From 9:30 until sunset, our driver Ali showed us the most beautiful spots of Wadi Rum, cooked us a lovely lunch on an open fire, and went out of his way to help my elderly parents in law in and out of the jeep. His English could have been a bit better, but we felt in very good hands. The camp itself is surprisingly comfortable with electric lights and good bathroom facilities, and its setting in a secluded bit of white desert is beautiful. The evening meal was spectacular, prepared for us in an underground earth fireplace. We wish there would have been toilet facilities at the major sights during the day, but that is a problem of the Wadi Rum administration, not Bedouin Directions. Overall it was an amazing, unforgettable experience in this stunning landscape.

Great place to stay, they are very amenable to your needs and can tailor their offerings to suit whatever it is that you desire. I had a wonderful two nights here and can thoroughly recommend the bivouac camping and jeep Safari. The breakfasts are sublime!!

Amazing hosts, delicious food and a very homey camp. I had an amazing experience at Bedouin Directions, totally recommend it when you‘re looking for a remote camp (also the only camp in the white desert of Wadi-Rum). The jeep tour was also very nice and we were treated to lunch! Ala‘a and Odeh were very nice!

Most wonderful experience! Odeh was very lovely, helpful and entertaining. Me and my friend had an amazing time, the camp is beautiful, the food is delicious and the views are out of this world! I will happily return there and for a longer time 🥰

Fantastic service, the best guide in Wadi Rum. We took a full day trip in September 2021 through the desert with an overnight stay in the open air with millions of stars overhead. We were wonderfully taken care of, an excellent lunch, an evening barbecue under the stars and breakfast in the morning, of course everything in Bedouin style. We visited the camp after breakfast in the shower, and I must say that the location of the camp is a great place far from the overcrowded modern camp right at the beginning of the village of Wadi Rum. I will recommend to all friends. Thanks again for everything, Paul and Iva.

We stayed at Bedouin Directions camp in the spring of 2017. We had a phenomenal experience. We took a 1 day camel ride and a 1 day jeep tour. Both experiences were awesome. Our guide on the Jeep tour (Mohammad) was superb. He was super friendly and informative, he played with the kids and was a lot of fun to be with and made us a delicious lunch too.
Our stay was everything we had hoped for. We would for sure visit the camp again and would, and have, recommended it to others. If you are going to Jordan and thinking of visiting Wadi Rum, these guys are the guys to call.

A great place to stay, it’s a small camp so you really get personal time with the owners. They had a great fire going with tea all night and amazing food! The small camp experience was really worth it. Plus of course the views are amazing, they easily accommodate dietary restrictions too!

Everything during our stay was perfect, starting with communication by email, through jeep tour till amazing night in desert. We loved that the camp is far away, so it feels like you have all deset just for yourself - it's easy to climb to a view point and watch the stars. Camp itself was clean, dinner delicious and staff very helpful. Thanks for the trip guys!

We had a great time. A great guide for our night under the stars (Mohammed) who was friendly, discreet yet full of information and an exceptional guide.
The camp was OK, i found it lacking authenticity compared to the rest of our trip.
In all we had 3 unforgettable days

We (family of 4, 2 children 11 and 13 years old) had an amazing 2 day adventure with Bedouin directions. We flew into Eliat (OVDA) and having purchased the Jordan pass in advance, it allowed us 2 days entry into Petra (you need 2 days) and entry into all the other sites in Jordan (including Wadi Rum) plus easy passage across the border without a fee (3 nights necessary) from Jordan (you still have to pay the Israel exit fee). Mehedi organised our taxi transfers with Ahmed (who is lovely and does not smoke) from the border to Petra, then Petra to Wadi Rum and then Wadi Rum back to the border with Israel. We arrived in Wadi Rum village around 10am (2 hours from Petra) and after a welcome hot tea we met Eid and the camels. We then had an amazing camel ride across the desert to their camp (3 hours lunch then 2 more hours). Their camp is tucked away in the centre of high rocks, so very protected. We enjoyed a leisurely evening dinner chatting with Mehedi's brother about todays politics (interesting times at the moment). We then enjoyed a short night hike, viewing the amazing stars, before settling down for an early night. The beds are very comfortable and they had fantastic warm blankets so even though it was December we were lovely and warm. We woke up at 6am to watch the sun rise over the desert then breakfast and then at 8am Sala arrived with the Nissan pathfinder to take us to the base of the highest mountain in Wadi Rum. We enjoyed a leisurely 3 hour hike up and down and then Sala cooked a wonderful lunch over an open fire. We then visited the arch and the spring with the vehicle before returning to the village to meet Ahmed again for our return to the border. We had a fantastic active 2 days in Wadi Rum and we could not ask for a better team as Bedouin Directions. We learnt so much about the desert, the plants and the animals and also the life of the Bedouin. To experience the life of the desert you should definitely come with this family company. Thank you so much Bedouin Directions.

Hands down the best thing we did in Jordan. Where as the men-made marvels like Petra and Jerash are amazing pieces of work, the peace and quiet and astonishing landscape of Wadi Rum was the most relaxing thing I have done in a long time. (Even with all the hiking ;) )

We were looking for a active, somewhat authentic 3 day programme and this seemed the best fit on paper. Turned out it definitely was! We did jeeping, canyoning, climbing, hiking and camel riding and everything was arranged and timed perfectly. They also adapt the pace of the programme to your fitness and needs, so do not worry about that.

Many thanks to Ali, Audi, Ahmed, Sala, Raed and Mehedi for the hospitality and great guidance, food and organization. Highly recommended!

We visited the camp in February 2016 for one night and a day tour. We met some of the most friendly people here. Even though it was off season for tourists, they've organized everything for only the two of us. We were basically alone in the camp. The owner is really friendly, helpful and flexible.
One of the best experiences I had so far. Highly recommend this camp.

I visited Bedouin Directions in November 2013 and stayed 3 nights at the camp with my best pal, both of us seeking a quiet beautiful place, in undeveloped pristine desert for us to explore and enjoy while catching up. We couldn't have been more thrilled with this place. The guys at the camp were Bedouin who clearly loved and knew their beautiful desert. We walked out of the camp each day for an un-guided walk about and saw some of the most incredible desert-scapes we've ever seen. By night we enjoyed the provided cooked meal as well as a communal experience with the guys playing music (singing, clapping & oud) as well as fun Bedouin games with them and the other guests. The whole experience is one i will remember dearly forever. I highly recommend Bedouin Directions for those interested in having a unique cultural experience while making accessible incredible desert wilderness.

if you are looking for a camp in wadi rum: dont look further! CHOOSE BEDOUIN DIRECTIONS. it is such a dreamy, wonderful place, far away from the other camps in the desert which makes it so peaceful and special (less touristic, more authentic)

they will answer all your questions quickly and explain the tours they offer very precisely. the communication in the camp is easy too: everybody is relaxed and the owners + stuff have a great sense of humour. they tell the best stories and jokes and serve excellent tea & shisha while doing so. we booked the full day jeep tour and Fadi, our driver, was the sweetest, funniest guy and he fulfilled all our wishes!

make sure to stay 2 nights because 1 night isnt enough. also dont worry to go there during winter like we did: the blankets are very warm and the beds are cozy. i wonder how they manage to keep the tents so clean under the harsh circumstances in the desert.

you will get a traditional bedouin dinner - zarb. it is basically an underground oven that cooks the food for 3-4 hours. traditionally a mix of meat like lamb and chicken, rice, onions and carrots are placed in a square hole in the ground, which is filled with flaming hot coals. the hole is then covered with a few layers of blankets to hold in the heat and finally sand is covered over the oven. the meat was so succulent it was unbelievable and the potatoes were the best we ever ate!

i also have to say: the owners/drivers are suuuper flexible and helpful. i asked for more fruits for breakfast and got delicious apples the next day. on our last day we wanted to see their baby camels and they happily agreed to bring us there. i will definitely come again with a group of friends. thank you for the best time of our lives, bedouin directions!
