Wow wow & wowwww! Salem is more than a host, he is simply an unforgettably kind and cute person! The camp is located in a wonderful, fantastic environment. Spending the night in the desert admiring the stars is amazing. The food is really nice and tasty and the preparation is a miracle. Food cooked on embers dug into the ground is tasty and plentiful. The evening spent in the Bedouin tent with a conversation next to a sisa was an experience of a lifetime for us. We will certainly return one day, and on a longer jeep tour, we will see and experience even more natural wonders with Salem.

We stayed 2 nights in Jamal Rum Camp and we enjoyed it very much, nice people, good food and perfect location, on our second day we took whole day jeep tour and it was fantastic, you cant get bored, Mohamed prepared such a delicious lunch! We totally recommend that camp 😍 Jordan is safe and its 🔝

Jamal and everyone were very welcoming. The tents were really clean and even had AC’s.
Especially dinner was delicious and the 4W tour was well planned. I stayed there on the 31st of December and they really made the evening feel special. They even picked us up from and dropped us off to our bus stop.

Spent a night at New Year's - greatest way to end a year ever! Great party with friendly and caring hosts, daily serving of the traditional ground cooked dinner, amazing view at the night sky and well organized dessert jeep tour! In general everything is well handled and planned - from the pick-up to the drop-off at the visitor center.

The 45JOD package for lunch, dinner, breakfast, 3h Jeep Tour, and private tent are totally worth it and fairly priced!

I had the most amazing time here with all of the guys at Jamal Rum.

The place is peaceful, the views are wonderful, and you get incredible value for money.

The guys who hosted me were all so, so good to me; hospitable and so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and they spent so much time talking to me and entertaining me in the evening when I was the only guest eating dinner and in the communal tent! So a big big thank you to Hamada, who looked after everything and organised me a taxi, and was always happy to help. Thank you Ali, who cooked amazing food and fantastic tea, whenever I wanted anything. And thank you Muhammad who picked me up from the visitor centre and gave me a very detailed, incredible 3 hour jeep tour of wadi rum.

I would recommend this place to everyone!

They have free and secure parking, which is amazing. Also, the camp is located in a very nice location, you can enjoy wonderful view of the stars at night. Dinner was very tasty The tour is a nice and enjoyable experience, especially for the dunes Incredible cleanliness in the middle of the desert is cleaner than a five-star hotel The staff are very helpful and kind Our car broke down and helped us at no cost. I just want to thank you with all my heart. I highly recommend it.

We spent 1 night in one of their bubble tents. We also participated on a 6 hour long desert tour.
We enjoyed it very much. The bedouin guys who run this camp are very flexible, kind and accomodating people who pay special attention to make their guests satisfied. Highly recommended place. Thank you, Salem!

Value for money. Good camp with heated bubble and tents. It's runned by a group of young men, funny and friendly. The sight of the desert from the bubble is worth the trip in Jordan. Make a deal with Dinner breakfast and 4x4 tour included.
Someone will pick you you up at the Jamal Private Free Parking, skipping the visitor center.

Be aware that you can chose between 4 different rooms and only the most expensive one is with air-conditioning. We needed to upgrade (travelled in May) due to high degrees. Jamal and the family will treat you like their family. They're kind, caring, fun bedouin people ready to help you with tours. This place is far from the others, so expect dead silence and nothing to do besides a couple of trips. Highly recommended ❤

Unique experience, best thing to do in Jordan, experience the quietness of desert.

The campsite is very well located, far from the road, an oasis of peace around with a view that takes your breath away. The host, Mr. Salem Mohammed Ali, very welcoming, attentive to the guests. The food was delicious and varied. The tent is equipped with air conditioning, very useful at night, and a toilet with a shower. I highly recommend.

For people who write: not too many options of food, restaurants, shops etc, maybe you should travel to some big cities like Amman or maybe even Dubai or New York 😅.

The breakfast had: fried eggs on demand, at least 10 other things to chose, inlcluded sweet and salted, and the dinner: traditionally grilled meet (zarp), vegetables, at least 2 kind of hummus, 3 or 4 salads, what do you expect more? 🙂

In the evening, it's possible to stay outside, sit close to the fire and enjoy the nature and the stars . In the tent, if you leave the curtains opened for the night, you can admire the sky.

Jamal, Hassan, Sami, Aziz and the family and staff are very friendly, trying to satisfy the needs. They arrange anything you need, even the transport from Amman.

The bubble tent was clean, the bedsheets too. There is sand sometimes in the room or bathroom, but: hello 👋 just a kind reminder, we are on a desert, it's natural 😉 it's natural too that the tents make noise with the wind and they get hot when it's hot outside.

We were in a camp in the middle of nowhere, but the tents had toilet and AC (highly recommended), more than enough for me. My kids were really happy with this experience.

This place is perfect for stop, relax and meditate your life. There is no TV, no shops, no restaurants. Just the nature, the beduins and you 🌞 . Enjoy.

Amazing experience. Great prices, very welcoming staff. The price includes breakfast and dinner and a tour to the wadi. Unfortunately, I cannot upload videos but I attached a couple photos I suggest staying for two nights.

Good place, great nature , the camp is equipped by the modern technology, the management was good,the staff, was helpful. With everything, food was great adventure was over the line. Recommended

I've stayed here on the 18.01.23 as part of a pre-booked package. At first, I was sceptical due to some of the bad reviews, but my experience was amazing!
There are two kinds of accommodation, tents which are more like small bungalows with an own bathroom and windows - these come without AC or heating - and bubbles as a more premium room, with front row view in the desert and AC. I stayed in a tent and it was absolutely alright, the thick blankets keep you sufficiently warm at night.
Food was great too, there was a buffet style dinner with traditional "Zerm", meat baked in a ground oven below the sand.

In the middle of the desert , this camp offer night stay in a bubble or a room, they make dinner & breakfast.
Also there is a Jeep tour that can be added,
We booked it for the sunrise.

This camp provides comfortable rooms with beding and blankets & hot shower.
The bubble room got also an Ac installed.
Free WiFi is available at the main lodge.

Amazing night View with stars.
We've been when there was full moon so we so a bit less stars but overall its an Amazing experience and not that expensive.

I think I'd come back again for another stay.

We spent there 2 nights. Camp is located in a nice place, far enough from the city lights, not to see them at night, but close to the El Capitan Parking, so it's quick and easy to leave it in the morning for another destination. Jamal speaks English very well, it's easy co communicate with him. On day 1, his brother took us to Jabal Umm ad Dami and day 2 we spent just chilling in the camp. We had a panorama window room, spacy, clean with bathroom. There was a fan and a hot water, nothing to complain about. Food in the camp was great, especially Beduin dinner, cooked in the "ground". Everything was as agreed with Jamal before we arrived to his camp, price was not changed during our stay. I had 1 small complain but Jamal offered a great shisha in the evening, to get even, so I'm fully satisfied with this stay and I can recommend this camp to the others.

Great Place to enjoy a trip with boys, family, honeymoon. Clear Skies with thousands of visible stars and a view from your room. Recommended to book the Mertian Tent.

We had an absolutely perfect stay and can recommend this camp! The location, the tour but especially Jamal and his brothers make this place very special. Besides the nature and the impressive desert, stars at night and quietness we had a funny evening with nice meal (zarb), singing (Abu kulthum + Umm Z :-))... They really care and are interested!
