Discovery Bedu Camp

We stayed here for two nights and had an absolutely unique experience we will never forget. If you want to get the most out of your stay here, avoid staying just one night and go for at least two - otherwise you will miss out on more than half of the experience in and around the camp. We had the best meals in very unique setups, whether breakfast or dinner under the stars, went on hikes, camel riding and even went on a hot balloon ride. Muhannad's dedication to his guests is remarkable, his team will go above and beyond to make your stay one you will never forget!

My husband and I were here Nov 2023 and had the most amazing experience. The staff was absolutely fantastic! It truly was a magical time! Surrounded by the starry universe at night and the stunning desert view by day was surreal! My husband doesn't camp at all - this was not camping - beyond "glamping" as well!

A must do experience in Wadi Rum :

We had the chance to stay in the discovery bedouin camp for one night with my family.
What a magical experience ! It is unique, exclusive and you cannot find it anywhere else. Really hard to describe this perfect match between simplicity and the best an hotel can offer.
The location is the best one you can find in Wadi Rum and the only one where you can see the sunset.

Last but not least : the food worth a Michelin star restaurant.

I stayed on-site last week as part of a TCS World Travel group and they took such amazing care of us!

We were a small group of about 10 and nothing was overlooked for us. All the staff were wonderful and they provided me with drinks and snacks and fresh fruit (bc I don't drink alcohol) so that I wasn't left out of the revelry. How nice.

We had live music, camel rides, an amazing traditionally prepared dinner of lamb, chicken, veggies, hummus, bread and a couscous that was the best meal I've had in ages. Everything was amazing. Staff then prepared dessert in front of us over open gas flame and gave us all delicious coffee and tea before a stargazing event.

The next morning, we woke early for sunrise and came back to a wonderful egg breakfast overlooking the desert.

The rooms are spacious tents with warm water and their own toilets with comfy beds and a space heater. Additional blankets and a bedouin coat are provided if you get chilly.

Staff spoiled us rotten in this desert wonderland. If you get a chance to come enjoy this experience, please do!

I know this sounds cliche but I would really give this place 6 stars, if I could! Arriving in the middle of the desert by 4x4 to the best experiences of my life! The staff greet you and give you a brief explanation of the hotel and then let you relax and take care of everything! Each staff member is very attentive and could not have been nicer! They are there to help you but not get in your way. The yurt is perfect and had a private bathroom and hot shower! The yurts each have a heater and comfy bed! After getting settled we headed to the swinging bed for wine, snacks and breath taking views. The only traffic coming through the camp was a heard of camels. We continued onto the couches outside to watch the stars and keep warm by the fire! Dinner was an experience as they cooked under the sand! You are called to watch it be uncovered and then are directed to the dining area to eat! What a lovely experience! The breakfast was impressive as well. Omelets prepared by a chef, as you like, along with fresh bread and side dishes! The only thing is I wish I could have stayed longer! Would recommend to anyone and will hopefully return soon!!

Best camp ever visited. The hosts were fantastic. The tents are great, food best ever. Go here if you are up for putting a little extra money into your Wadi Rum stay - it's worth very penny.

Well appointed tents in beautiful setting. Loved sitting in the outside living room with cocktails watching the sun set. Delicious meals. Solicitous service for all aspects of the experience.

A slice of paradise in the desert. We only stayed for one night but wish we had longer. Every member of staff was fantastic and we could not have asked for a better stay.

Cette nuit a été un moment magique, du début jusqu'à la fin.
Un grand Merci à Muhannad, Rami, Tamar et son 4x4, ainsi que toute l'équipe qui travaille en second plan. Et qui vous font sentir special.
Du très très grand luxe, dans un coin magnifique du WADI RUM.
Des repas de très grande qualité, des paysages splendides, une tente ultra confortable, tout était extraordinaire.
Un moment inoubliable et hors du temps !

Sin duda una experiencia inolvidable, llegar en 4 x 4 al campamento, un sitio espectacular, un lugar increíble, con instalaciones de 10, comida impresionante, y super destacable la atención de todo el personal, te hacen sentir especial desde el minuto uno de la estancia, pura amabilidad. Si quieres vivir una experiencia en un lugar aislado, tranquilo, paradisiaco, con una panorámica inigualable, este lugar recomendable 100%. ¡Volveremos!
