A family-operated tour company with a legacy in the desert. They've been running this operation for 30+ years and know Wadi Rum as well as anyone. Their camp is excellent with modern conveniences and an Old World vibe. The chef made the best chicken maqluba I've ever had. The tents are comfy and warm (I went in Feb) and the bathroom modern. The excursions were a lot of fun with a great deal of flexibility so you can set the itinerary.

Trip was November 2022 . This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and memorable experiences of my life . Absolutely stunning landscape and miles of soft red sand and structures which seemingly rose out of the sand . We spent 3 days with Salman and his beautiful family . We stayed in the family home for 2 days and were treated like family . This was a completely immersive experience into the Bedouin lifestyle . We spent 2 days Touring wadi and were kept right by our knowledgeable guide . Words cannot describe how amazing it was and the food in the camp on day 2 was delicious. We had chicken and vegetables which had been cooked underground. The family could not do enough for us and I still owe a sweetie parcel to family Eid with the kid’s favourite treats from Scotland . Don’t even look anywhere else if you want a genuine experience which you will treasure forever

Both myself and my son had the experience of a lifetime with wild wadi rum tours my only regret is we didn't have more time there, can't recommend them enough! We was very well looked after, great food, comfy beds, great showers especially considering we was in the desert! Salman and his family are truly amazing humble people, thank you again for a lovely stay, I will return with more time to spend for definite!
P.s if you get a taxi from anywhere to wadi rum village do not let the taxi driver convince you to stay somewhere else...you will regret it, wild wadi rum tours are great hosts! thanks again Salman I will see you again !!

Salman Eid and his team did a wonderful job with our tour. We had a freak rain storm that turned into hail. They made the best of it. Tour part was really nice. Started with tea at his home, then with his cousin to see the sites, stopped for lunch at a camp site, then spent the rest of the afternoon seeing Wadi Rum. Definitely a good value and would recommend.

Undoubtedly the best Wadi Rum tours you will find - Salman and his beautiful family make you instantly feel like home and well taken care of.
We went for the two day trip with camel ride and the whole day jeep tour. Local bedouin food was delicious, the camp hidden in a cosy corner of the desert had neat bathrooms and shower, and private tents and living space were traditionally decorated and spacious. The tour itself was well organised and we had plenty of time to enjoy every location in the desert.
The family puts a personal touch to every part of the experience (such as sons playing traditional music after the dinner), everyone we met were extremely kind.
I wholeheartedly recommend them and will definitely return again.

I found the tour company while searching for hikes to Um Addami and it was a breeze trying to book the tour over just a few WhatsApp messages and emails with Salman. I even got my dates wrong but it was no problem changing that either. It was also very competitively priced for the things included. We turned up on the day and were offered tea by Salman’s brother before we were picked up by our guide for the tour which included the hike to Um Addami for a start and a few other amazing viewpoints/short walks. The guide was quite chatty at the beginning but got quieter thru the day, I guess it’s tough to be working this hard while fasting during Ramadan so I don’t blame him at all.

I only have amazing things to say about Wild Wadi Rum Tours. Our stay with Salman and his brothers has been by far the highlight of our trip to Jordan. They were always kind, warm, welcoming, helpful and flexible.

We had opted for the three days camel tour (for which I would recommend a very thick foam or sponge protection between your legs, cause after a full day you'll get very sore). I would recommend a longer tour as this allows you to go in lesser known parts of Wadi Rum where they'll be much less tourists (if any).

The camp is basic but comfortable, you'll have everything you need, with great food. It's also populated by a nice crowd, generally bagpackers, climbers. It allows you to avoid the whole influencer type of crowd you can have in other camps.

Overall I would highly recommend Wild Wadi Rum Tours if you want an experience that feels true to the desert, to the bedouin culture. You will definitely never regret it or forget it

An excellent and a must do experience!! I would like to thank the Eid family for their great attention and also for the possibility of having an entirely flexible tour!! We customised everything and Hussein/Ahmed/Salman are very flexible too.

Also, remark that Salman responds very quickly to the emails so it was very easy to arrange every detail of the tour with him.

Finally, it was a real pleasure to stay at your campsite and please preserve your values and identities, as that's what makes your agency and your campsite extremely charming.

Unforgettable experience of two days in the desert, sleeping in a tent overnight. We had the honor to be taken by the father of the big family that operates the tours. From the start, we felt like part of the family, with tea, water and excellent food, despite being prepared in the desert. Visiting all the important places, hiking alone through the desert and enjoying the sunset above the overnight camp, everything was top notch.

Truly one of the best experiences of my life. Eid and his family were amazing hosts and thanks to them we could live the perfect and genuine Bedouin experience, with typical food, music and customs. We were accommodated in the camp out in the Wadi Rum desert and could enjoy the intimate peace and tranquillity under the stars. The next day we had a magnificent breakfast and a tour of the immense desert which also included a camel ride.
I definitely recommend Wild Wadi Rum if you're looking for the most genuine experience and not the usual tourist trap. Eid, Salman, and his little brothers have gone the extra mile for making our stay the best we could ever get.
Again, choukran to every single one of them. I really hope to be back very soon.

We would give our experience 6 out of 5 stars if we could. Our guide, Eid, was very welcoming and passionate about his tours. The food was all local, with a large variety of buffet options for dinner. The sleeping accomodation was very comfortable. Our 2 night experience was well worth it. Depending on your preferences, Eid and his family offer a variety of options: hiking, jeep tours, camel rides, sunset tours, and more. His prices were very fair and Eid makes sure that all of his guests have a wonderful time.

Me and my friend had a 2 day trip with a toyota and camel and overnight at the camp, they were all very friendly and the experience memorable!

If I could add 6 stars I would. The family handling the whole tour process is the best we could ask for! They offered us a unique experience that we will never forget. And if you have the time, book to stay the night, you won't regret it. Also, the food was excellent, especially the dinner, I was full and kept eating because it was that good. Finally, no hidden fees were included so no worries on that department as well. Thank you Salman and Hussein (and the rest of your family) for the original Bedouin hospitality, wish you all the best!

You will not be disappointed if you select this company as a touring option for your time in Wadi Rum. Our time spent touring with Wild Wadi Rum was a major highlight of our Jordan experience.

My brother and I were keen on trying sandboarding and Salman provided excellent assistance in making this happen. He set us up with sandboarding for 4 hours and touring the Wadi Rum desert. There truly is no place like Wadi Rum, it's absolutely beautiful. The whole process was easy, emails were responded to timely, and upon arrival, we had some tea, paid, and were sent with one of Wild Wadi Rum's team members. We were taken to some large dunes, and as we sandboarded, our guide made tea for the intermission (as sandboarding is hard work). Besides sandboarding some impressive dunes, we explored some highlights of the desert including Lawrence's Spring (the location of Lawrence's house), Khazali Canyon (where the petroglyphs are), an impressive rock bridge, and a couple of other interesting stops, one with many small stacked stone towers.

If I was to travel to Wadi Rum again, I would choose Wild Wadi Rum as a tour guide!

An unforgettable experience - we spent two days and one night in Wadi Rum with Salman and his family. Delicious food, amazing views, especially from the highest mountain peak in Jordan - Jabal Umm ad Dami. I highly recommend!

It was exactly what I was searching for. Small camp, over 20 minutes away from Wadi Rum City, without noisy tourist who search for a disco on a desert and with great hospitality delivered by Salman and his brother and other his teammates.
Great contact (english) via whatsApp and telephone, no problem with arrange details of our stay and tour. Without any trickery (first we tryed to arrange our stay in different company and they tryed to charge us from everything: electricity - additional fee, water - additional fee etc.). So Wild Wadi Rum is a great value for money.
We spend in Wild Wadi Rum Camp two nights, we have a short camel ride and privat wholeday jeep tour. I could try to describe it. But its better to experience it with Wild Wadi Rum Team:) It was great experience. One more time thank you!

I did in August the Sunset tour with Eid, from Wild Wadi Rum, so I arrived in the morning and stayed for the night. If there is one thing you must experience while coming to Jordan, it must be coming to Wadi Rum and sleeping here...It was absolutely breathtaking. The desert, the silence, sleeping under the stars (no tent or camp - I didn't want one - just you on a mattress, with a blanket, right under the sky), waking up to see the sun rising over the mountains...it's a magical experience.

Eid was a wonderful guide, who knows the desert like the back of his hand and has lived all his life here. I was alone and I felt completely safe and comfortable. Quiet, warm, professionnal, he knows exactly where to take you according to what you want : I wanted to climb, hike, and avoid touristy spots, and that's exactly what we did.

He is also a good cook, you won't get hungry or thirsty - everything is taken care of! A really nice thing is the car, too, because you get to be on the roof, sitting on a cushion under a curtain, while some other tours make you sit inside.

Anyways, don't miss out on that unforgettable experience!! Little tip : take closed shoes because the sand is burning, and a bag for garbage because it's not yet the culture to collect waste here and it's a terrible shame to spoil this magnificent place in such a way.

Oh my, what a trip it was! Fantastic hospitality, people, wonderful hosts and last but not least the beautiful camp and desert.
